Exactly!!!! Maybe they had life insurance on him and received a court approved death certificate, which made them able to collect the insurance money. So because he's not dead, they're going to have to pay it all back. 🤔. So many probabilities but no definite answer.

It’s a common practice with cases like these, actually. Person goes missing, person responsible for that person going missing calls in all boohooing. In this case, if they did intentionally lose him, he was lucky to still be alive.

When I want to help someone, I generally speaking, don't start by accusing them of fabricating the whole thing. If you want to be helpful, then be helpful. If you think it's just some troll amusing himself or herself, then say that, or just ignore it. Mixing the two by saying how much you want to help, then accusing the person of making it all up makes you sound either like you are either crazy or the biggest jerk in the world.
