MAN INJURED CAUGHT IN SCARY WAVES AT HAULOVER INLET | BOAT ZONE
Ойын-сауық
Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

He is lucky that with all that blood in the water he did not attract a SHARK. Thoughts?

@@SharonD369 Scientific "facts" often change. It used to be a "proven scientific fact" that the earth was flat. It used to be a "proven scientific fact" that Komodo Dragons weren't venomous and contained a bacteria that did all of the destruction with their bite. Then they find out that they were always venomous in 2009. Scientists had been studying them since around 1910 and they only found out something you'd think would seen in the hundreds of autopsies that occurred over that near 100yr span. Advancements are paved on a road of debunked scientific facts so you should never shut your mind down to contrary.

I can’t believe how many kids I see on these boats and none of them have a life jacket on. Exactly in those kind of conditions.
The guy on the board is virtually invisible in waves. His ocean colored hoodie and blue trunks are pure genius too!

For a second, I thought the woman at 0:42 forgot to wax. The paddle board dude is a brave man considering the speed some enter Haulover inlet. The old guy at 7:31 has been around a while and does better than most, considering the size of his boat.

There's a fine line between brave and stupid...
Person to Ghost owner: “How many outboard motors does a small craft need?” Ghost owner: “Yes.”
Whatever happened to life jackets????
My dad always put them orange colored life jackets on his before we ever left the marina.
I live aboard my Trawler, but I practice self rescue. I would never expect anyone to risk their life for mine. Even during a hurricane!
After all these years I still have yet to figure out what the hell that old man in that Boston Whaler is doing, He always take his boat out on the roughest days.

Have you noticed how SPOTLESS HIS VESSEL ALWAYS IS...He obviously drydocks it...likely on a trailer which would be such a hassle to do every day with all of the yahoos about....even so, notice how spotless the Keel is and even around the engine...He is likely retired...perhaps a widower and goes out for a few hours...catches his dinner and returns...repeat and rinse...or should say, scrub the Boston Whaler then rinse...I think he reads these comments bc today he was just showing off 🙂...Taking pics...close to the rocks (albeit he hugs the Northside)... I refer to him as the DOCKER'S LEGEND due to his slacks appear to be Dockers brand ...if they make those anymore??? Always perfectly groomed and not only navigates the inlets with the massive wakes and waves that are so high he dissappears in the troughs...the most amazing thing he seemingly never has a drop of water approach him or his windscreen...

What I like is that he doesn't care about the camera; he does it for his own enjoyment. Someone who is a loyal follower told me they were at the same marina, and I said, ask him if he knows about the videos on KZread, etc. He says he responded that he doesn't even have social media and that he would be willing to answer some questions, but not on camera. I prefer to leave him be in his enigma; it seems more respectful to me.

Hope the guy is ok...dangerous...in fact, look up the story of Colorado Native named John Doyle and his adventures while surfing....(or watch MrBallen latest episode).... definitely thought would see Hammerheads, Bull Sharks or perhaps scarier if there are a school of them is Barracuda...Lightning fast and a mouth like a German Shepherd with TIGER FISH Teeth... And for those that ignored it. Do they get ticketed or fined...? See where i live when it's like this and YES it gets like this here on Cape Cod, MA. When we issue red flag warnings and the like you adhere to it. Or else you get fined. PERIOD.
As to etiquette, it appears that far too many skippers sit comfortably amidships in a padded seat, behind a windscreen and under an overhead, protected from the spray while their guests, who are forced to stand, get bounced around mercilessly and soaked by boarding seas.

Why do you think there are so many young and beautiful girls in thongs and old guys on those ships.
Dude in the Boston Whaler is kind of like Waffle House. If Waffle House is open the hurricane ain't that bad. If he's on the water anyone can be.
I still can't understand why adults would take their kids out in the ocean without life vests. As for the girl in the beginning, id say desperate much 😂
Looks pretty rough out there. Definitely not for an easy cruise.
To this day, i still dont see how these police and rescue boats only have a single person on board. For them to effect any kind of help/rescue, that means the driver has to leave the helm to render any kind of aid, and leave the boat at the mercy of the elements. Just seems ignorant to me.

Going in and out of Haul Over is not all that hard. You just have to go close around the north jetty.
Apologize for my typical multi-post...But why is Indian Creek responding considering they are a private police force unless they are recognized as a municipality...if were unincorporated it would be Miami-Dade....for those unaware, Indian Creek is the private enclave of Billionaires such as Beyonce and Ivana and Jared Trump, Tom Brady had a place there (still may have)...Once enter the inlet and hang a left it's not very far...hey have their own private police force aka Indian Creek...hence why I ask...

Lots of ‘baby sitters’ trying to protect so many idiots who haven’t got a clue and expect someone to come to their rescue! How about ensuring what you is safe and responsible?!
It's OK, if I get in trouble out there, someone will come risk their life to save my dumb ass.
Absolutely disagree on the passenger being “inconsiderate”. Most people just dont know. Its on the Captain to set boundaries and guidelines on their vessel. Maybe Cap doesnt care? Maybe its a charter and he really doesn’t care. Maybe hes her sugar daddy. Whichever it is, hes in charge of that vessel.
The amount of idiots on boats amaze me.....well.....these days.....maybe not.
I don't think that first captain minded the view of her plastered on the windshield right in front of him.
