They've been able to achieve six out of the last ten premier leagues with 113 breaches. If the league isn't considering removing titles, you have to question the governing bodies ability to run the competition. They haven't co-operated for five years ... who else gets away with that? Craig: if you finish 2nd you finish 2nd ... listen context is 9/10's of the law. The Reds finished only a point behind them last year. It's making a mockery of the EPL if they keep their titles, especially given they that denied and tried to hide things (for years). Alot of people would be turned off the game.

It's wrong because those medals are ultimately given to the players who had to put in a level of performance regardless of how many financial breaches the owners have made or not. You've got to sanction the punishment in such a way that it hurts the owners and not the players who gave it all to win it.

Exactly. Craig's take is just stupid. Case in point, Man City pulled Nasri and Clichy away from Arsenal at arguably their peak and won the title with those players. They basically weakened a rival through financial doping. Now, no one is saying that Arsenal would have won the league but to say that the people that finished second simply finished second when the top team is on a financial "super soldier serum" is completely stupid. first off all they only went back to as far as the 2017/2018 season meaning so already 3-4 of them arent in scope of the sanctions second of all the amount of lawsuits would come of it by this i mean how many sponsorships or deals or income did clubs miss by this if you deduct points of city. it would be straightup mess for the pl with half the league suiing them. it would be a lawyers paradise. second of some of the charges are kinda stupid i mean they have 5 charges of where the grass was to long on there pitch.... now if you want to punish and actually punish its pretty much a forced sale of the club that way you dont punish the fans or the players because they didnt cook the books but you punish the sport washing machine thats behind the club. because any other punishment is going to be issue going forward because these are stupididly rich people who litteraly make a super league or a alternative league in wich they remove relegation to get american owners on board. so i think a forced sale of the club is the best action that way you get them out of the PL entirely

I think the best solution, if City are found guilty of course, remove ownership from the Sheikh, sell the club to another buyer, and distribute the profits fairly to all of the other premier league teams. Perhaps a point deduction so a current owner still has an incentive to purchase the club. And this could be controversial but allow the team to maintain the trophies they’ve won because the players were not involved in the corruption, nor was pep.

Only if for every season they were in breach, and they pay back the excess prize money they received per season according to the revised league position. Even then, the executives involved need to be banned for life to avoid a repeat

Hard to enforce FFP when top clubs now have a Super League alternative.

It was clearly obvious with the salaries and such no way they balanced anything. Only reason they sold players this year was to try and cover it up.

Why not have salary caps that are equal for all clubs? No books to cook.

If guilty, should be stripped of all titles during the time these things occurred.

What does a point deduction do? They miss out on cl for a season? That's not a punishment, it's what most teams that don't cheat go through.

They're not able to fill there 53k seater stadium on match days and yet they are the biggest club in the world by revenue.
