I wonder how long ago he's been in Alaska and North America. At least 40 indigenous girls and women went missing from over 20 yr ago on the Highway of Tears in BC Canada. It was thought the SK was a truck driver possibly living or traveling to Alaska. This man is a horrible demon! Prayers to the women and their loved ones.

Hello from Portugal. I usually watch true crime series on Netflix, AMC crime or ID, but about a month ago after watching a couple of episodes of Crime Watch Daily, your podcast popped up and now I'm hooked. Ana I love the way you express your feelings about some of those horrific murderes. It boggels my mind how people can do some of the things they do. Keep up the excelente work and I'll keep watching.

South African here. He looks as if he's in his late 40s or early 50s, so he may have been doing this for decades. I wonder why he left South Africa? I wonder if he was doing bad things here too? If he preyed on unhoused people it would be easy to make them disappear here.

That’s a good point especially considering news reports showed his social media posts that were pro-apartheid in SA and posts where he said “everywhere blacks go all over the world crime follows” and he said “blacks are 600% more likely to commit crimes” which is ironic considering what he was doing. Considering his blatant disdain towards black people and his documented violence aimed towards another minority group in the states I wouldn’t be surprised if he was committing crimes against blacks in South Africa for decades prior to running off to Alaska.

I grew up in Alaska. I have a very deep love for the indigenous people there. I made friends with their children, I experienced the energy on that land. It was a blessing. To see these vulnerable women led to a brutal death is horrific. Alcohol & addiction is deeply embedded into the culture, no doubt these women are from very broken homes. It’s maddening. He went after women who couldn’t fight back.

Alaska is the " Last Frontier". I have family there, and can tell you after visiting Fairbanks, that there are a LOT of very dangerous places there, and I'm not talking about the Wilderness. People that used to run to Mexico, many of them now go to Alaska. The amount of Indigenous people there that have gone missing, mostly women, is ridiculous for the per capita residents. There are many really nice neighborhoods, mostly due to the Military based, and independently wealthy, too. Alarm systems are a given, as well as well trained guard dogs, but the low income residents are many times unable to afford either.

I believe what you were feeling in that bathroom was definitely was you being covered in a wave of past pain and evil things that were done amd basically walking into a past event and being inflicted with the victims pain also. there are alot of stories of this happening to people in various degrees, and those people had no idea of whaf happened inside those rooms etc. they may at most have been told its haunted, or evil house or someone evil lived there . But as soon as they walk into the main room or places where the victims passed or tortued and passed away, these people are over come by pain, sickness, so even see stuff like flashes of the past. Its crazy how when evil things or lots of death happens in a place there is such high residual energy almost like the past playing over and over again can be left behind. Battle fields have this to. So interesting

I think this is what happened to the girl that went missing on gilgo beach when she called 911. They say she ran into the marsh on her own and sank. She was also in the same profession as the others that went missing and they call what happened to her a mental episode but you can help but wonder when you hear the details that the other victims buried and missing there didn’t have something to do with it in a haunting of sorts. Or flat out.

That is so far from the truth its comical. There are 3.5 million truck drivers in the US alone and only an estimated 50 serial killers active at any given point, not all of which would be truckers. Even if half are truck drivers. That makes 25 out of 3.5 million or 0.000007% of truckers MAY be a serial killer.

@@Ipleadthefifth Yes, me too! Targeting disabled people is a possibility based on the photos and little we know but just observing really. My question then would be why does he have something such as so much anger towards disabled people potentially. It must have to go back to something in his background growing up maybe? But psychopaths have no empathy anyways so wouldn’t feel compassion for those with disabilities I guess.

30:38 You guys talk like the police have unlimited resources (time, manpower, and money), but that's definitely NOT the case. No matter what the crime is or who the victim is, the police have a very limited and strictly budgeted amount of resources. With that said, will the police spend more resources for a victim who's a respectable, law-abiding and tax paying citizen who contributes value to their society vs. a drug addicted, homeless prostitute? Yes and rightfully so. After all, prostitutes don't pay taxes and therefore don't contribute to the funding of law enforcement in the first place. It wouldn't be fair for non-contributing societal leeches to receive the same benefits as law-abiding societal contributors. Obviously.

I've never had a complaint about these reports until now. There were way too many jokes attached to the massage parlor story. Why is it funny to talk about illegal sex operations? You don't joke about serial killers. It's nasty, demoralizing, & many women are forced into it. The teens in Bible study were forced to have their innocence taken away, by seeing things children ought not to see or hear. Will made the comment that maybe they had to go to Bible study because of the sins of going to a prostitute (not quoting). Shame on him. I & many of my family members are Christians. We do not condone sexual immortality, nor do we participate.

They aren't as bad as Crime Daily's Crimes and Consequences. The two women who host it are so detached from what they report that I can't listen to them. They laugh about things all through it. Laughing often is detaching from the pain of facing what they are reporting. I think it would be hard to show empathy and compassion throughout the whole podcast.

I'm from South Africa. People all over the world do horrible things. Robert Hansen is from Alaska and he is a monster. How about Andrei Chikatilo (Russia), Peter Sutcliffe (UK) or Charles Sobhraj (Nepal)? What do people like Gasey, Shawcross and Keys say about Americans? On and on these horrendous people go. To paint a whole country in the same light as a depraved killer, is uninformed and just plain stupid.

I dont need an F.B.I. profiler and special agent in serial killer mindset and behavior !!! Bottom line is we just simply have people in our world who dont have the empathy or sympathy required to be a decent human being, a lot of these people have huge egos and self grandiosity complex . it sucks that people have to consider staying home and not going out for the activities we all enjoy simply because its beginning to get dark outside..
