Obviously not going to be a popular opinion, but I think it’s insane that spouses are allowed to not testify against each other, but Mom’s are supposed to turn on their children. That’s your child. When you’re pregnant, cells from your fetus trade places with cells from the mom - you are LITERALLY a part of each other. While I would like to think I would do the “right thing” if my child was ever - goodness forbid - up on murder charges, but at the end of the day, that’s still my child. I think a lot of people are not honest with themselves about this. You have no idea what you would do, unless you’re in the situation. Murder is wrong, but family is family, too.

Don’t blame her for her son being evil. You can raise your kid the right way and they still turn out bad. Blaming her for hiding her son is one thing, and she should be shamed for that, but parents aren’t always responsible for their children becoming menaces to society.

This happened in 2011 and he was caught and sentenced to life in 2019.

A couple yrs ago I went on a date. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me but I knew that he was too powerful for me to fight. I went along with it as if I enjoyed it, as if I didn’t know what he was doing. The healing would take more than 6 months for some deep internal scaring to heal up. I couldn’t wear a bra without pain & I suffered with depression. The agony was over. I decided that he needed to hear a scary true story before I left his house! I was setting him up to be afraid for his life after I was in a safe place… A few days later he approached me in public & he had a shit eaten grin on his face, like he just got by with something. He asked for another round. If you ever show your face to me again no matter where I’m at that story will be you, I exclaimed to him! I’ve not seen or heard from him again. 😂 I would have to bet that he left town. I think that he made a wise decision! 😂 Everyone knows that rape victims don’t get justice so I did what was best for me. Since that happened I tell that story before I have a date, so if they’re brave enough to date me I know that they’ll respect me even if they have something bad on their minds😂

I knew him for awhile so I never suspected a thing… some people are so good at hiding their true colors… Since that happened I have changed how I have my dates. I also got an alarm system on my house since it’s not hard to tell when a woman lives alone & I keep a gun by my pillow. I decided that I have to take precautions! Additionally, when I go on a date I text another person where I’m going, who the person is & their phone number and I ask them to text me during my date to check up on me. I also tell my date that’s what I do so they know that I’m protecting myself. I feel that I can’t be too safe.
