This is my favorite song by them with a great message. Great southern rock band from the 60's-80's. It is very sad what happened to this band in losing so many members in a plane crash in 1977. They had lots of great songs such as "Sweet Home Alabama", "Call Me The Breeze", "Tuesday's Gone", "That Smell", "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew", "What's Your Name", "Gimme Three Steps", "Saturday Night Special" etc.
You should go back and listen to the real Lynyrd Skynyrd performance
I miss all the ones we lost but seeing Gary playing guitar really makes me sad. He was my favorite in the band. RIP TO ALL OF THEM
And for his brother to sing it now is chilling. RIP RONNIE 🙏🏼
this is the song I sang to my son (35 yrs ago) as a lullaby ... Softly of course ... but he's an amazing, SIMPLE loving man today...
This is alright but you should check out this from the mid 70s. No comparison to this version. Ronnie was definitely the better singer
One of the best songs ever written.
If people would just follow the advice here from Momma, and simplify themselves,we all would be better off. Dont complicate things or yourself, thats where confusion stress and pressure live.
That's not Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Need to listen to this song by the originals, not by his brother. Just not the same.
My son is 16 and has this on his playlist. I was so proud!! He's listening to older music.
This is the best version of this song that's done by these guys . Nothing will ever touch the original .
You should listen to the studio version with Ronnie on vocals now
One of their most meaningful tunes!
Glad you reacted to this great classic southern rock song with a great message!!!
This was the song my wife always sang to our son when he was growing up. Good words to live by. ❤️🙏
Absolutely by far, the best southern rock band that ever existed, THE ORIGINAL LYNYRD SKYNYRD FROM THE '70S.
I was at this show! Homecoming!
Hello, I'm a subscriber here from Brazil, this song is beautiful, with a wonderful message, it's exactly everything parents should say to their child!!! Lynyrd Skynyrd has several songs with beautiful messages and there is also a real story lived by them that is very funny and the song is called Gimme Three steps, I suggest a reaction...
Great song and great message. Great Reaction
