I love how history did justice to Cass Elliot, showing her as the individual powerful woman she was. Shame she left so early, she truly deserved to witness this.

The CSN book I read said of Cass that she was a musical matchmaker. She was key in introducing Graham Nash & David Crosby. That alone is pretty clever.

Who knows? Possibly she does know this as she watches over her sister and daughter from beyond the veil. Three of the four are reunited now. In time the fourth will join them. Can you imagine that party! Singing songs even the Angels will love.❤

cindybin2001 And priggishness makes me furious. Pardon me if I don’t condemn her character to the fires of hell, just because she took a few wrong turns in her short life. From what I can see she was a beautiful, intelligent and warm person who struggled a lot in life, and was finally starting to find contentment when she died. I don’t see what point there is in criticising her for the mistakes she made when she was clearly not a bad person. But there you go.

She actually didn't look as heavy around 24 minutes in the scenes wearing slacks. I think the tent shaped dresses did her no favors, maybe there were not the style options as much for larger women.. . ). Maybe she could have rocked something a little more tapered w the signature go go boots.

@@finallythere100. She dieted. Yo-yo dieting. Up and down. So at times yeah, she looked a little thinner. But it wasn’t permanent. She was about 240 when she died. She could lose weight but would gain it back, which is also very hard on your health. Aside from the obesity itself.

WOW! What a great biography! When I was little....around 5 or 6, I took apart every song she sang from the Mama's and the Papas, and thought I was the bomb when belting out her parts. lol She taught me a lot about harmonizing and projecting..... I think because her voice was so distinct no matter who she was singing with, she made a great teacher. Couldn't help but smile singing ANY of her songs. How she could cut through without overpowering or drowning out other singers proves what a true gift she was given. She was her own light. You just can't teach the things she could do naturally. Because of her, I had some amazing experiences singing in my youth. Wish she was still around so I could give her a great big hug and thank her. In two days, she would have been 80, still belting it out with ease, I'm sure. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just as all so called bands and singers are 100% paid puppet deceivers that never write their own music "never have and never will!" Never make it to the top. They are all intentionally made famous by the same worldwide "Gang" 100% all of them without exception are inverted transexuals including that MAN Cass Elliott that goes by the fake name Bette Midler today.
