My mom left my life when I was six. She loved Tom Jones, so his songs mean a lot to me
One of the things I really like about Tom Jones in interview he laughs at himself and all his blunders.
I met Sir Tom back in 1996 when I worked in Atlantic City. He was sitting in one of our casino's private clubs (with a young blond) and some other customers asked me if I would get his autograph for them; he was a very gracious and signed about 5-10 autographs for people. He's a true living legend

I never missed the Tom Jones show. I have the entire collection on DVD. Along with several other DVD. I have seen him over 100 times. I have met him twice. He autographed a linin made in Pontipridd Wales and it had all of the historical landmarks. I got it from friends from Pontipridd Wales and they knew how much I loved him and brought it to me. Tom signed it for me and I had it framed. Then I saw him again and I had my picture taken with him and I have had a glass champagne!!! I was on cloud 9!! I was 12 years old when I saw Tom Jones with my Gramma and I had heard his beautiful voice as a young girl. My Gramma adored him. I am 55 years old now and he has made me dance until I sweat, I have been to his concerts and I couldn't stay in my seat. I have been at his concerts and cried!! He can just get right to my heart and soul ♥️ I love you Tom. Thank you for all of the wonderful years of making us so happy listening to your amazing voice and watching you dance and sweat up a storm for us ❤️ you will be loved forever Tom ❤️

Just found him on The Voice. Mind boggling- he's better than ever. And my God what a stage presence. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand. When he sings with the other judges- they are stars, he is like the Sun. Dwarfs them in talent. Amazing.

Back in early 2000 the guy I was dating had a handful of concert tickets that his mom had given him (she was out of town and couldn't go) for the local fair. I think we went to three different concerts in a weeks time and Tom's was the most memorable. I'd never seen anything like it! The women were going berserk!

He was so handsome
Tom Jones was the first concert I ever attended in 1976 at the IMA Auditorium in Flint Michigan USA. My mother loved him and wanted to see him. The opening act was a Disco group called The Sylvers which I loved. Great night that is still remembered. She's a Lady is a life long favorite.

The SYLVERS 😲😲😲😲😲 They were my Favorite group back then. Loved them & my Dad could have been Sir Toms brother. They looked so much like each other. Even my Dad kept his hair puffy all the way until the day he died back in 1997. To funny, but I Loved watching and hearing Both of these gentlemen. Him & Elgebert Humperdink. He was just as Handsome and as Talented as Sir Tom. Great talent back in there era.
I was seven years old when I fell in love with Tom's music. I remember oh oh oh delilia . I'm 65 now and so happy he stayed with his family all the way. He loved music and was such a good husband since he was sixteen years old. Amazing but as it should be. Hope your doing good Tom and thank you so much for all your talent. Wonderful person you are and have always held your guns. As have I. Peace & Goodwill to every living creature. Jeanie Hill-Wilcox. My mom had all of your records as loved you more than me. I do know that you can get married in Florida at one of the chapel's and as long as you live in Florida you are married, so it is easy to comet adultery's there.

Hard to imagine he hit the big time in 1965 yet his backing band were still with him until 1969, by then Tom Jones had pretty much ended his run of huge world wide hits and was making a weekly TV show. What were they actually doing, they didn't seem to be playing on any of his hit records and they weren't touring with him once his first hit was recorded, I'd have thought they were given the boot as soon as Tom's first record made it big in mid 65.. Not be invited over and given his old clothes..

Great singing, no question. However, I always wondered about how strong his wife must be to watch her husband in fluffy shirts, tight high wasted pants with a bullseye buckle, nice longer hair. She was amazing to endure the big green monster (jealousy). Bravo to Mrs. Jones who never got any credit for enduring being a stage widow!!! 💫

I'm 63. My mom lived TJ. We had the Green, Green, Grass album. I liked it, but I'm really a metalhead.
Tom had bragged about sleeping with 245 women in one year. He had eyes for all women. His wife was longsuffering. This documentary was dishonest in this respect. He also has another son that he never acknowledged or supported because he felt the woman got pregnant on purpose. She was a model called Katherine Berkery. His sons name is Jonathan. This shows Tom has a bad character.
Elvis started the girate... He would have been international if it weren't for his sorry manager...

As does Elvis as does Roy Orbison I'm sure you've heard of Phil from wings of Pegasus he does a lot of those analogies and as I've come to know him just from a KZread that came across about hello listening he's very talented himself and very musically knowledgeable and he does analogies of you know different performers and I just happen to listen to his Elvis one the other day just I don't know came across My feet again but he's done Tom Jones Roy Orbison and he'll tell you the same thing so yeah I don't know if it was trained or not I was Presley wasn't I just was you know giving that gift of music I'm sure he studied music once he you know could afford music lessons but Elvis learned a lot from the blacks he went he would go to their churches and stand outside and listen to their music gospel you know Southern Memphis or at least TENNESSEE... My dad used to when he was living he could play by ear and he could play about I don't know 8 or 10 instruments couldn't read a note on a you know page of a song book but he could play as well as anybody on the Earth I'm not praying cuz he's my dad I'm afraid the talent passed me right up I can't do anything musically but Dad used to this is when he was kind of wild we were from a small town originally and we're in Texas now but we were from Indiana and he used to go down there to one of those bars where everything was segregated and it would be black men and dad would go in there and sit and play music with them the same play and I loved him and he love them so that's pretty cool I didn't sneak inside but I snuck and watched him for a while one time that's a little girl 12 years old 11 years old my father became a Christian later on and then about this minister so I hate to leave the story there but some people are just gifted and my father could not handle the women and the alcohol and the thing is if you know Tom t Hall the country music he started around 1967 and there I know he was still at 67 he probably was doing a little bit earlier he used to be at my dad's band in Indiana I even has a song called connersville Indiana that Tom t Hall wrote and sang and it was recorded you can find it on KZread but that was where we were from and he was my dad's rhythm guitar player but some people can't handle the fame not that my dad was famous but you know he was handsome he was the lead singer he was extrovert just like these other guys you know and my dad just never made it out of a small time because he couldn't handle especially the drugs I think cuz if you're not I'm not drugs I meant alcohol but if you're not you know all drugged up or or drunk or whatever then you don't mess with the women so much and my mother wouldn't go except occasionally with him what she was beautiful by the way because she was so jealous she wasn't like Melinda Jones or Woodward she was way too jealous so anybody just kind of go up there and stand in front of my dad and dance while he's playing music she was so berserk so she only did that a few times and she never went back my mother was a very little angel anyway she was just one of those beautiful people I'm somewhere in between the two LOL
