Male And Female Lion Fight over Wildebeest Carcass- Virtual Safari
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Racing across to get to some lions fighting over a carcass, we arrive to one Ndzhenga Male Lion and one Ntsevu Lioness feeding on a wildebeest.
In anticipation of the conflict and aggression around a carcass, we wait with bated breath for what is to unfold and this allows us a fantastic close-up view of the male feeding. Zooming in on his enormous canines, barbed tongue and plentiful scars that decorate his face.
As the female tries to feed the male lashes out with aggression towards her before standing up and marching off with the carcass.

Great video very intense
I love your videos! You're the experts, so I'll go along with your thoughts about why the 2 lionesses let the male have control of the carcass. I believe that the females have better social skills and control of themselves. I would think that they sort of "read the room" and react depending upon the situation.
We are the vehicle to his left watching this. Just added to the incredible experience we had at Londolozi! Our ranger was Andrea! Thanks you posting, took us right back to that day!! Can’t wait to return!!

Rich dentists
the cutting away from the lions is killing me
Great video! Lioness displaying humility n king showing off power🦁💥 not sure what causes them to behave otherwise.. Ive questioned that behavipur also. Thanks 👍🏾💯💥Amazingly bright beautiful skies
STUNNING footage! Thanks a mil for sharing. 👌🙏😍
Nice video. I think it's about survival and the lion simply doesn't want to share the prey. The lioness feels intimidated because the lion is much bigger and stronger and can't help but wait for her to eat too. I don't think it has anything to do with protection and stuff like that. It's just the hierarchy of nature.

exactly... but where is the proof that this was even their kill? could be a carcass they came across and he's just being an asshole ..
I think it is the cubs. They can protect themselves but any cubs must have a strong male for the cubs
Wow, what a sunrise.
Some lioness do jump in on male lions in Marsi Mara,, 5 lionesses jump the male, and he almost died. Vets came in and helped him
Not sure why there is blood on the stick at 06:07
I always question the same why they allowed., The male to dominated ? when it more of them, then he. I saw a video I think it was the fig tree pride one male try to come in an feed they almost kill him. He had to get a vet for him to survive. So I guess it who the pride is. At the end of the day it about surviving. Great video nzanka male need to be careful , because black dam male was seen mating with a kambula lioness. So we will see how long will they last
I think you may be right on this i think they know to keep him as protection and in the area and in top shape as their protector!! I also think this male could really do some damage to the females and they know that too. Awesome video though!! Thank you for sharing.
Sometimes lionesses will gang up on a male. Some will recall the Birmingham male that was left with injuries that eventually led to his death after the Kambula/Ntsevu lionesses ganged up on him when they were feeding on a buffalo kill.

So, somebody else actually remembers what happened to Nsuko (Birmingham) in 2019. Yup, 3 Kambula/Ntsevus can be considered the murderers of their late boyfriend. Yup, that video was "educational," revealing "lion behavior" that the big rangers/guides cannot teach to the public. And it's NOT completely rare for lionesses to gang up on a male lion. Yup, especially if they've got cubs sired by other males. Just a reminder, for those who don't know--probably quite a few out here--1 original Kambula/Ntsevu is dead. That based on Londolozi "expertise" out in the field some weeks ago already--maybe even late March. In Mala Mala, it's still up in the air just which other 2 Kambulas are dead--2 carcasses found, unclear exactly who. Probably 1/2 Birmingham subs realistically is among the dead. A video showed 1/2 along with an adult female trying to rejoin with another faction of the pride.
If 3 males showed up, this one male would not hesitate in leaving these females. They must not know that or else perhaps they would gang up on the male and take back their meal 😂
They are hungry
😁👍🦁
The way there teeth are they have to eat from the side
With all the power and intelligence of Lions, it's often Lack of Balance that opens the door to Peril for themselves and the Prides that are among the top of their values. The answer to your question is Testosterone. Indeed the Lionesses know that it's important to provide well for their protectors while avoiding conflict that may get themselves injured or deleted. Testosterone can make a being so drunk on Dominance that they are too mean to allow the Huntress to maintain condition, and sometimes nursing mothers defending his Cubs. Balance as a Team is Vital. Don't be greedy, allow the Huntresses to feed and maintain condition so she can fill your belly next time. I've seen Lionesses grow tired of mean past prime Lions and the whole Pride delete him. Some of the most legendary Lions are known to allow the Pride Lionesses and Cubs to feed well, also to hunt and contact call to their Denning wives to join them in the meal.🥩
I feel it`s BOTH as the Naturalist may feel the same and some you out there may feel the same way to that these females know the power of this male " YET " I`ve seen other videos were females would push a Male off so if it wasn`t for the mating and the protection of they`re young ones and them self`s and their territory the females wouldn`t need the males but then we wouldn`t have any Loin`s now would we... Since I was a child I have always seen the SIMILARITY in our Wild Life in us Humans and it`s SAD that we are the main Threating PREDATOR to all SPEICS including our home Mother EARTH... They never push male lions of anything. Males are million times stronger and like this guy says why they even try to hurt their protector?
👌💗
Further, 30% in video we see you face instead of wild scenes... please reduce your face time on camera. Thanks
Would you please stop commentary?? Viewers are not dumb. Let them listen nature
