Lion Cubs Are Introduced To Their Father | Predator Perspective | Love Nature

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

A couple of cute lion cubs are introduced to their dad for the first time. These cubs left their den six months after they were born in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. Before the return of the cubs' father, this lioness had to protect her newborn cubs from danger alone.
Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves on the continent It contains diverse habitats and is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds, and reptiles This abundance of animals means many predators, including Africa’s big cats.

The most adorable thing I've ever learned is that lions will pretend to be hurt by their cubs' attacks to build their confidence up. Nothing is quite as cute with these big kitties as watching a lion overreact to a tiny nibble from their cub.

It’s because of the hormones in the brains that’s all , if their brains were to be replaced , the males would act like females and females like males . The same would apply to any species , even humans , nature created things this way for a reason . Do you know the reason in case of lions ? In case of lions it’s mostly because one of the sons might one day grow up and betray the father and try to take over the pride by kicking out the father , and if that happens , the father will be forced to kill him or get killed , and hence they often avoid forming deep emotional bondings with their cubs .

And it's even better if that cub is female, because females don't get kicked out of the pack, only the males after they reach a certain age (around 2 years old). It's rare that a male kill his daughters, but more common with grow up sons who defied him.

That is so ridiculous I had to laugh out loud🤣. Oh course he reconzie his own pride , remember these are cats whose sense of smell is a million times better than ours. Humans can change their hair color and style of clothes but you will still recognize a family member or a ex even you have seen them for a long while . Well same with cats ... and they don't have the luxury of getting a new style change . They might have a couple new scars but for the most part, they are very easy to recognize when you actually take notice to the differences in their manes and scaring

I love to see this interaction, checkout how mom and older daughter let the little ones see that he is their leader by going up and greeting him with the head bump, then the little ones approach. Then as always mom looks so very proud and regal, as she loves her babies and her "husband" for lack of better term. These animals are incredibly social, the absolute most beautiful thing to see, is adult male and female, show one another affection, by petting cuddling and cleaning each other.

Male lions do the most of the babysitting because females do most of the hunting. This lion was the leader of his small pride so, he had to leave for petrolling while leaving the mother by herself. Male lions can't lactate either so, naturally it comes on females. Females are also generally more nurturing in behaviour. But that doesn't mean lions don't do anything. If the male lion wasn't marking and protect the territory, some other male lion would've probably entered and killed the cubs and the mom couldn't have done anything. These are gender roles of nature and they work. So, stop with your narrow feminist worldview.
