MAKITA DUC306 VS HUSQVARNA T536 The Best Aborist Battery Chainsaws

I compare these two power full battery chainsaws. Makita DUC 306 and Husqvarna t536 lixp
in USA the name on Makita duc306z is Makita XCU08.
Aborist akku chainsaw testing cut speed and weight. Tool VS Tool
Info:
Husqvarna 36V 12" Cut speed 13,8 sec.
Makita 36V 12" Cut speed 11,4 sec.
Makita DUC306Z is the same battery chainsaw (electric motor) as makita DUC 256z and DUC 356z in Europe.
This video is based on my own experience. The wood that been used in the video is not 100% similar for each cut. Husqvarna and Makita have nothing to do with this video. The video is not sponsoret bay Makita or Husqvarna.

The problem with husqvarna is it is too expensive. And makita has the market with already having exciting tools with the same battery platform

By the way, Makita is around half the price of Husky.. There's a clear winner for me here..

What about the "Boost Mode" on the Makita? You mentioned it at the beginning of the video. But you didn't show it.

We have the 36v and the 40v , absolutely great saws , the safety button is not an issue once you get used to it , as you pick the saw up you automatically turn it on. The only saws we have that never leak one drop of chain oil . They are cheap too .

Probably somewhat close to what you can do with it's rear-handle sibling, the DUC353. That has been on the market a bit longer, so you might be able to find reviews for it that cover the number of cuts it will do. I cut quite a pile of European Ash with the DUC353 last weekend, didn't count them, but did take a picture: tweakers.net/i/1q996-wn3Uaal436ALyeVooUYCo=/f/image/lhDtHSl2pwWuuuu18XB6ncEl.jpg (note: this is with a set of 6Ah batteries) Should be getting a DUC306 this week, if I don't forget I'll come back here to share an update on how those compare.

My experience so far is that the DUC306 (in normal mode) is comparable in power to the DUC353. I would expect, given that they use the same 2x18V powersource, the number of cuts would also be similar. Maybe even a few more for the DUC306, given its shorter bar (I actually run my DUC353 with an Oregon 40cm bar, rather than the original Makita 35cm bar).

Small minor default on the makita duc 306 are the fragile metal protection plates that are ment to protect the plastic from the incoming chain. Mine were broke/deformed quite fast. For the rest excellent machine.

I've got the UK version of the Makita DUC306, it instantly turns itself off after every cut, its an absolute pain in the arse and really not suitable for tree climbing work. Makita UK got me to return the saw because they thought it must be faulty but then on inspection they've decided that this is normal! Bearing in mind it's a top handled saw so should be for professional use only and it already has 2 separate safety features to stop accidental running of the saw there's really no need for this! The worst thing is that the US version stays on for 60 seconds after each cut which would be fine! If you're a DIY user you shouldn't buy a top handled saw, buy the back handled version, If you're a pro user don't buy a Makita battery chainsaw it'll drive you mad, like a petrol saw that stalls constantly! Its a shame because it's not a bad a saw aside from that, very capable even on thick hardwood, it lacks a little torque, you do have to get the chain spinning up at full speed before starting the cut but still impressive for a small battery saw.

I have the EU DUC254 and it turns itself also off after 5 seconds if you don't keep pushing in the top safety lever. It's a standard Makita feature

First of all...you weren't even pushing on the Husky...you were pushing the Makita hard....secondly - one of the cuts with the Makita didn't even start at the top of the wood. Get a 540i....those are both junk compared to that.
