    Trouble with Makita tension rollers is that they do not manufature them very well, the M9400 comes with a bracket so it can be used as a bench sander, that's when you are most likely to find out the die casting ridges have been ground down to a flat slightly concave level. That's all well and good if it's just used as a flat sander, but if you want to use it to shape and clean up concaves using the tension roller, there is a heavy thump thump thump.... As they all seem to be like this I will have to pay a company to fill the dips and refinish the roller.
