It'd be cool to see a glow-in-the-dark resin bait for night fishing/low light conditions. I guess you would need your uv lights with you to charge it, but it seems like a cool concept.

We used the flash off of an old camera. If you hit the uv with it a few times. Glows really nice. You get a good 5 or 6 long casts and have to hit it with the flash again.

You can get uv flashlights! I use them for curing small uv projects.

@@fearthereaper8067 that would be so awesome!
Lure reviews sound great. I would also like to see some more painting tips. The real boring stuff like cleaning the airbrush between colors, thinning etc

My favorite thing is waking up to Marlin Baits uploading a video 16 minutes ago
Ive been watching you almost since you started. This is one of the most beautiful seimbaits youve made. This, the smally, and the zombie gill where all well put together and painted
Hoping this starts a series of experiments, always more to learn.
You are soooo lucky to have Chip (I lost mine 4 years ago and still mourn for him). Love watching you vids, especially the ones with Chip.
I’m getting into making lures because of this guy here. Thank u for all the awesome videos.

Same, working on my first one now (it's horrible but there gotta be a first time for everything right?)!
Long time no see bro! I get stoked every time a notification for you pops up!! 💪💪
BRO! im soo happy i found your channel again, i used to watch your videos ALL the time years ago. i love it! youre the this old tony of swimbaits!
I've started making lures because you showed me how. I never realized how fun it is! You should make a mola mola lure!
KZread loves your channel, everytime I auto play it's just start playing your videos. Every. Single. Time.
You know it’s gonna be a good day when Marling uploads
One thing I love about your content is how honest and appreciative of your viewers and commenters you are.
I love the wooden master bait. It’s my favorite
I love this type of video it's truly the perfect video
Giggled like a four year old at 31:19. Incredible glide on those baits, and that first resin paint job is to die for.
The paint on that resin one was disgustingly beautiful bro.. killer.
This show is inspirational.
I have seen many beautiful baits on this channel, but the shape and carving on this lure is so clean, it might be the best bait so far. Very, very well done!
Holy hello that super fluorescent bait is my new favorite even before it's finished.
Best line and most relatable…. “Thanks for the background noise… ChIP” lol
“ You don’t even know. “ lol . I laughed!
Started cutting out shapes for my first luremaking journey the other day and after watching this I’m so grateful I saved thin cuts to turn into tail fins. Was torn on whether they would work or if I should opt for plastics
Having played with a Dremel tool since 1970 I believe your assessment without making my own test.
that was a wicked paint job.
Hey mate. When building glidebaits like this, give the body of the joint a flat 90° face but keep the angle on the tail. The super aggressive angle that this allows, gives the bait a supurb action called "chopping". Plenty of vudeos on YT about this technique and its the go to way to use these baits
It'd be cool to see some homemade rattles in some of your baits. I've done a few by making a cylinder out of a tin can and a ball bearing inside . Would love to see what you would come up with.
I loved the blue veiny surprise at the end!
Whats not to love. Thats two spiffy looking baits right there! And bonus fishing. I mean, almost christmas
Gorgeous baits, Nate. 👍 Here's a "like" for your exercise of self-control and knowing when to say "when" 😁
I'm glad that you combined the two concepts... you do listen to us... :)
Nothing like a good wooden master bait
Thank you so much man! Swimbait content is by far my favorite on youtube
When you realize Nate was the quite kid,😱😂😂 for real tho look at you now, beautify family and a job doing what you love can’t beat that.
WOW! What a tail! WHOAAA, it swims just like you said it would, awesome. You are definitely a master bait maker.

Haha, if there was a big blue water tower next to the bait plastic place you went you were a stones throw away from my house. Lol small world.
You are such an artist. The thinks you think of are amazing. Thank you
I follow alot of fishing channels on KZread. And I get the most excited by far when I see marling baits post
What a blessing your videos are!
YESSSS A MARLING BAITS VIDEOOOOO
Been watching your videos for a while and I must say, your color schemes have gotten SO good. Very unique and creative
Good way to end my night watching from the UK 🇬🇧
Gotta love Chip's contributions!
Glad to see you post against, was hoping you got over your illness. Would be awesome to see you make some small minnows or trout spinners.
Glad your feeling better.
I always really appreciate a good joint too man.
Gotta Loving The Fishing Community Man!! Wasn't expecting to see that guy on here.
That big lure you said you were going to review got me thinking about an idea I had while watching your “lightest wood & densest wood” video, you did just a clear coat to show off the wood you used but I thought it would’ve looked cool with like a dark purple top and maybe some vertical bars but also leaving a lot of the wood grain showing through! Just an idea 💡
Awesome looking glide bait Nate, thanks for sharing
These baits were gorgeous. Great color choices.
I love ur baits mr .... ur vids r great .... thank you for ur teachings ....
this is my favorite colors you done.. great bait sir!!!
Good to see you back!
The color scheme on that wooden one is absolutely beautiful.
I reaaallllyyyy want that resin glider. Nice job man!
Love watching you videos 🔥🔥
Omg!!! I love it sooooo much
Do your neighbors know how awesome you are? I'd lose my shit if I realized a creator I watch, lived next door.
19:30... Jeez man thats so beautiful..the bass in my local ponds would crush that quick like
I have recently took up fishing again and love your videos! You sir have inspired me to try and make a few lures thank you!
Nice work as always. Thank you for the great content.
Love this video.. Keep cranking out these amazing lures! Colors on point.
Been watching your videos for the past 4 years. Crazy seeing Chip with grey hair on his muzzle :(
Oh man a new vid dropped while I was on a cruise. I was holding out hope for a Beetlejuice sandworm
I got so happy when i clicked on this! Its been a while. So excited to see what you got for us in this video!
Omg I'm doing my happy dance Nate!
You walking through the bait plastics warehouse gave me mike row dirty jobs vibes
Cool sturgeon catch! Love the look of the baits as well as the amount of self control to not snag your bait. Nice carbine too.
Beautiful baits!! 👏👏
Enjoy watching your talent. On the $1200.00 swimbait you talked about how you had problems with your belly weight sticking out. Maybe on your larger lead, insert one of your hook holders in the lead hole. Screw into body and leave the eye inside the hole. Lead will lock into the wire. Just a thought. Keep up the great work. 👍
Yess ..a marling video ..alwayse excited to watch your videos bud
I must say you do some extremely impressive work! Absolutely outstanding and easily one of the best fishing channels on KZread IMO ! As a fly tyer I can appreciate your attention to detail and perfection when it comes to bait making! Keep up the great work my friend!!! New subscriber!
Sooooooooooooo flockin stoked for this!!
you might want to look at smooth-ons product line for your molding and casting. They have a great set of expanding foams, and I have put in a very thin layer of non-expanding urethane first, then filling the mold with the expanding foam for a very smooth surface and a light interior
Day has gotten 110% better now, so thank you!
The near death experience reference at the end of the video, priceless. That one had me laughing. Thanks for the video. God bless.
Awesome build, Marlin
Perfect time to upload as I'm making a swimbait. Looks great as always my man you're videos always make my day!
These baits never ceases to amaze
I also think too much and always second-guess myself I always over sand and I always over clearcoat… And I constantly change my ideas and I don’t need to!😂 very solid advice in this one good sir thank you so much!
You made a comment about a vibrating table, and what I used while working in a local haunted house was an electric razor. It will do the same as a vibrating table at over half the cost. Just turn it on, leave it close to what you are working with and it will give you enough vibrations to get the job done.
(37:10) I love the occasional 618 references that come up from time to time! 😂
ive been witing for this for so long i am so exited
Good looking baits as usual! Have a Merry Christmas!
You make the coolest lures!
Love your videos man. Gonna try to make my own lures over Christmas break!
Hell yea finally 😭 nice to see a new video upload
Man your baits are awesome.
Amazing work man!! Nice!
Now we just need a pink floppy human swim bait in 2021! We got a few weeks to make it O-FISH-AL! Let's go!
I would be curious to see how small you can make a wooden swimbait. Great video as always
That was another brilliant video. I’d love to try one of your baits here in the uk !! No 1 fan
Very inspiring video. I may actually try making one of these now lol!
I’d love to see one of the resin baits with a really detailed bluegill paint job
Can you carve or make something out of a block of hardened superglue? I think that would be really interesting!

Great video. I enjoyed the comparative review of materials. Speaking of reviews, looking forward to more info on this lure review idea you mentioned near the end.
That is a sweet job! I actually really like it a lot wish it was mine..
Dude. Your like River Certified and stuff now with that epic Sturgeon snag😎 Exquisite workmanship and attention to detail on those baits. You've come far pilgrim. Best vid yet.
