My father in law has his childhood home walking distance from the cafe/bar. We spend time there in the summer. Will be back next summer and also Terceira(“my” island). Love these islands so much.

Die Bar sieht richtig gemütlich aus. Ich mag den Sommer nicht, alles was über 25 Grad geht ist mir zu viel. Dabei geht es hier Deutschland ja noch. Die weit über 40 Grad woanders in Europa sind echt heftig. Ich drücke dir die Daumen, dass du einen Verlag findest (vielleicht ja auch nen Indie-Verlag).

Ja, ich sage hier auch bei jedem Regenschauer "immerhin besser als Südeuropa" - von den über 50°C auf der arabischen Halbinsel brauchen wir gar nicht erst anfangen ☠

I loved this video! Your friends bar looks so incredibly nice and peaceful. I love seeing rain on plants - I once had an entire album full of videos of wet plants haha it is just so grounding for me

There is no ferry to the mainland unfortunately, the distance is simply too great. The ferry you see here travels between Faial, Pico and São Jorge daily. My partner just landed on the neighboring island and had to take the boat to come home. :)
