“I just love my life”. How wonderful to hear, and how seldom heard. True sign of personal wealth.

I have been very interested in Saint Helena for the last year. I found and reviewed all the blogs about him, I recognize his streets, people. And I just can’t understand why I am a resident of Kyiv, a 4-million city in Europe, so attracted by this peace and remoteness. But on February 22, Russia attacked my country, it bombs our cities with cluster and vacuum bombs, we are sitting in bomb shelters. And I realized that my intuition attracted me to the island. It will always be a corner of peace in the world. Take care of him. It is a pity that I did not believe my intuition and did not go to this corner of paradise.

It looks like such a peaceful life! Gary was very honest & enjoyable to watch & listening to. It’s hard to figure out, how this island was even inhabited in the 1st place, because it’s so remote. But, it’s definitely provided a beautiful life for its residents!

Unfortunately these people who share their stories with us, have their own lives to live. So we can't spend too much time with them - just a day - to capture a small slice of their experiences and philosophies, to share here with you. The message that should resonate is there's natural beauty in most Places. Please don't assume all is Blissful...Elsewhere. Make YOUR Place "Paradise"! Find that beauty, nurture it, a grow best there. Films can make nearly-anything look good, & there's always a wise Elder to ask advice from in your surroundings. Ahemmm...might take getting off Social Media & YT to discover all that, though! Take note of one thing common to ALL these Elders...none have a "smart" phone to rely on. :-)

Hi Joseph - people who live in St Helena are incredibly friendly, we made it our mission to meet as many people as we could in the very short two weeks that we were there and have ended up making 10 films - we make each film in a morning or afternoon. WE really loved meeting Gary - he is such a legend. Thanks so much for your support and comment.

Am a young guy sir age 30....I took up dairy farming at a young age of 24 .....and you are right....nobody wants to get their hands dirty....they kept telling me that....but i love it... hopefully to find a girl who will be by my side soon....all love to you.

Hi Fuera. It is definately an island worth visiting - the landscapes, the people - it's a very special place. Because St Helena is so remote, there are not many travel options. Currently the only way is to fly via Johannesburg (in South Africa). So maybe look into that option? If you do travel, let us know your thoughts when you return :)
