We're on São Miguel but no builders available. Already waiting for months. About materiala, yes there are more options her but stock is also limited and if you want something different.. It is waiting for months.... I'll think on all the islands construction takes ages, years etc.

Hi Tasmin, we met you guys briefly a few months back during that concert by that sailing couple on their boat. The quality of bricks can be a big issue in terms of humidity. The bricks have to be made with sand that's got all the salt removed I think. Have you had an issue with humidity and if so, what have you done about it? Not sure if you've already addressed this on previous videos. Keep up the excellent work!

Hi, yes, I remember! :) The house has issues with humidity but with the new windows and new ceiling we hope the problem is mostly fixed. Of course there is always high humidity on the island, so the dehumidifiers are constantly running. We will only see this winter if there are any other issues.
