Making Scatter Terrain With Left Over Bits - Cheap and Easy Warhammer 40k Scenery

Ойын-сауық

In this Video i show you what i do with all those bits that are left over from all those alternate build options i didn't get round to using - this is a great way to clear space and to get that space down in your bitz box!
you will need
coffee stirrers
super glue - i recommend using cheap stuff
bits (obviously - duh)
Cheese Cloth
cable ties or something like tamiya extra thin tape
a sharp knife, clippers and either a small piece of sand paper (about 80grit works fine) or a coarse file
pva, acrylic paint
brown wash and any red or blue paint (you can use any colour this is just what i like to use)

Cheesecloth is called cheesecloth everywhere. At least everywhere in the US and Canada I've been.

Other materials that can work well for tarps are paper tissues, paper towel, wet wipes, coffee filters and tea bags. Try to choose products without embossing if possible, oe as little as possible. All different textures that can give you visual interest.

Just a thought, could you not use craft ink to colour the clothes with the water/pva mix? The Range sells a bunch of cheap ink colours for T-Dye projects, a quid or two, and its already liquid, so might mix better and offer more control over the colour?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, being ink. Probably wouldn’t need as much either

The Emporer does not approve of your palettes, the forge world making those subpar non regulation crooked palettes needs to reprimanded, they are to transport the goods of the Imperium, their functunality needs to be at their best (the sipties are an amazing idea, but why not use them with the texture out?)

Also with turning the zilhões the other way around it’s quite tricky to do them up as the bit you have to pull faces the inside and as you tighten them it starts to bite and becomes quite difficult - especially for people like myself with the stubbier fingers/thumbs
