To add realism to the models dry brush the feet and legs with that lighter sandy colour, as then it should show the Dark Angels have trudged through the desert and not just been placed fir the asthetic.

I have not! It seems to be a bit of a running issue with more and more scenery pieces being a nightmare to build over aesthetics - I k ow that’s probably part of the process and a side effect if you will of having more ornate scenery. But still 😂

Guess we have different materials here in the states. Just tried this with wetwipes I bought off the shelf and they were tough to pull apart....but if I pulled too hard they would rip apart. No idea how yours were so stretchy and perfect. Got everything primed, did exactly as you shown and my armor plates came out to look like small gobbets of bloodspatter, not marble. Really sucks. This is for my Knight Archeron....going to have to either change the paint scheme to match the white and red bloodspatter (this is supposed to be House Vornherr for my Loyalists..) or scrub it and start all over, forgetting this attempt at marble. Waste of 4 hours of trying to get everything without mistakes..

what was the brand you bought? a few people have said they tried flushable ones and they couldn't replicate the method, over here in the UK most of the wet wipes are pretty similar (I use really cheap ones from a supermarket and have tried a few different brands) and as long as they are completely dry I've had a consistent result, let me know and ill see what i can come up with for you, id also always recommend doing a practise pass on something like an old base etc to avoid having to strip a mini and save a bit of time.

'Anything can be a drybrush' Your instructions are unclear. My wife is not happy with you after that. I picked her up, turned her upside down, and tried to use her Barnet as a drybrush. Still, I did discover that her ginger hair (she is a day walker ginger; red hair, but able to develop a lovely tan when the British sunshine stays around long enough) makes for excellent terrain tufts. However, she now has to guard her bonce so I don't sneakily cut bits off... I'm obviously joking; I will shave it all off while she sleeps 😂
