Yup I would too. I do this with alot of stuff mechanically too. Im not gonna do 1 tie rod just for the other to go bad 3 weeks later. Im doing em both. When I lifted my older suburban, I basically gutted the suspension down too the frame. My excuse, "I'm not doing this again anytime soon" lol!

I can understand one in a pinch, but given the opportunity, both is sooooo much better!

If it's a beater or a cheap daily I say just replace one, if it's something interesting, either objectively or subjectively, do both... and while you are at it just replace all weathered plastic, weather stripping, glass, panels, wheels, tires, suspension... oh shit we are 10k into credit card debt
