WOW that is something to see WES Doing that he is crawling on his own now !!! I think it is wonderful Tori !!! I had to learn how to crawl again in 2017 then walk it was hard to do !!! I am in my 70's now so that is hard to say about myself but WES Is the SMILER of all of it with HUDDY !!! Love this drying out the food have tried to do the turkey that Jim has to eat on the trips !!!

We love watching the videos that you and Jim post. We really enjoy when your whole family are featured. Our grandchildren often watch with us

I LOVED THIS!!! You taught me so much about the maple syrup process! I didnt know there was more to it after boiling it outside. Your system with the piping is amazing. You She-Hulked those buckets up that hill..DAAAANG! I am amazed at how much you do! I'm a DIYer myself. I'm doing venison jerky next month..im kinda excited to try a new recipe I came up with. I bet more then trees got tapped before Jim left. 😉🤣 Can't wait for the next show and to see how your dehydrated butter chicken sauce turned out! Nice, I have the same Salton dehydrator. I feel better knowing that someone else has this one and likes it. I have to switch trays around as well. Pineapples turn out tasty. 👍🏾

Great video Tory. I can just smell the syrup from here. May I suggest how to save yourself a lot of misery trying to filter. Just set it aside for a couple weeks or so and let it just settle out on its own. Carefully pour or ladle off without disturbing the crud. Then when you go to can it, heat it up to 180? and pour into your jars. Any hotter and it will form new niter. Far easier than filters, it will be crystal clear, and be less waste of good syrup washed down the drain.

I love that you have a channel and that you share your family with us and your boys are just so amazing and I love how much they love to help you

I remember when I lived in Colorado, putting food by. I had an electric stove, two burners with canning jars in kettles running way past midnight. It takes a long time. But ... I'm sure you feel this way, when you get it in the jars, they are cool, the lids sealed ... perfection.

That’s a good question. We used to do the boil down down the hill but then the problem was it was harder to manage throughout the day unless I just stayed outside next to it because it’s further from the house. We tried it on the driveway one year and it was so convenient that we just keep doing it there now.

Watch little spills with buckets (maple syrup or water) was those. Check lines in case of leaks, so loss of maple syrup, hence plug up those taps to prevent big losses.
