Tori, the kids, and North are the stars of the Baird family. Jim just kind of tags along.
Yay Tori! I am subscribed and look forward to seeing the Baird's Family life through your eyes. I was hooked on the last family overland and canoe trip because of the very real emotional experiences you shared with us on camera. I love being outside and doing small bush craft projects and short camping adventures, so I am all in with your channel. Good luck and, like all youtubers, you will learn as you go.
Jims a lucky man, he knows it! Safe travels and safety.🤍
I just LOVE that you´re making you're own channel! I've been watching Jim's channel for a couple of years now. Really enjoy his own achievments but love the videos of the whole family, with you making a big contribute (and the kids ofcourse). Looking forward to new stuff from you! Big love from Sweden!
We are so excited that you have your own channel... My wife and I think you are great and the best thing that has ever happened to Jim... Ron and Diane

I am so excited for you. Jim's got some serious competition 😂. Maybe you should bottle that up and sell it. I'd be the first to buy it.
You and Jim are so blessed to be living where you are, the area is beautiful ❤️❤️. Thanks for starting your own channel, I am looking forward to more adventures involving your daily life activities with the kids❤️❤️
Enjoyed this video Very much 😊, looking forward to the next!
Tori You are simply the best! Haai From northern Sweden
This is so great Tori!!! Thanks for sharing and the effort it takes to do do so 🙂 💜 B
Love your own channel. Mmmmmmaple syrup, boil it down. 40 gallons equals one gallon of syrup.
Love that family of yours don’t tell Jim you’re videos are so chill
We love maple syrup time too! Ahhh so relaxing and you are so right about the light at the end of the tunnel. Spring is almost here! ✌️🇨🇦💕🍁
We go to a maple farm every year for buckwheat pancakes and fresh maple syrup. We buy different grades to use for special occasions. You’re a beast though Tori! Looking forward to more videos.
I love where you live. I have never seen this so thank you. How many maples do you have on your property? The river is moving! You kick butt.
Let’s go Tori!!! Yeeeahhhhh!!!
Great video, I especially loved how helpful Huddy was with the hammer!
Hi Tori We're still in sap season here in Northern MN. Our temps dipped back below freezing so the sap is frozen in the bags yet. I love this time of year! We use a barrel stove and finish off the syrup in the house once it cooks down and is just about ready to finish.
Following you now on your channel too! we get a glimpse of life outside of Texas heat and humidity. LOL Thank you!
It's about time you got your own channel
When stringing tubing , take thermos bottle of hot water with you and dip the tubing end in the hot water for a few seconds and it will push onto the spile easier .
Congrats on your first of what should be many, many more KZread videos!!

So fun, it’s a great experience!
We could have tapped in late January here in West Michigan! We tapped on February 19th and were done as of about a week and a half ago. Noticed today the Sugar Maples have buds already!! Crazy year for sure!
Awesome video. Love your new channel and I definitely love watching maple syrup time. Hudson is getting so big and learning to help more and more. Good luck on your new channel and hope it does well. Don’t overdo your work load because you already have a lot on your plate
So cool really enjoyed this
This was fun!
I’ve been waiting for a video like this. Thank you and again wishing well on your new channel.
I can't wait to see this process start to finish. How cool! I'm already inspired.
I love your new Tube video!😊
Love great job Tori ❤❤❤
Cheers Tori 👍🌹👍
Good job, Tori! TY!
Actually crazy good for maple bad time for sking and winter camping.
Great video Tori.
Very entertaining ❤
So exciting. I grew up in western New Hampshire and went out on a horse drawn wagon to collect sap on a neighbor’s property many times as a kid. He had a big out building where he boiled down the sap. It was fun to be part of the process. Can’t wait to see the next video now. All nostalgic

Sounds like a really memorable experience!
I can really see this as an exciting ritual in the transition from winter to spring. Growing up in Michigan, I remember going out hunting for morels as another one of those annual events. Fun times!
Looking forward to the boil down video.
I wish we had a “maple season” here in SW Missouri. It would be a fun thing to do. We are already in early garden season. My cool weather crops are already in..

Your amazing Tori I don’t know how you do it!!!
Good stuff Torrie
Tori, great job, hope the harvest is super
Mmmm...maple syrup 😋
Do you ever relax?? You are one busy human!!!
I’m soaking in all this info but I’m wondering if it’s worth my effort to tap the three maples I have? You have a full production line. Normally I wouldn’t have considered this but you are so inspirational . I love your family..I love watching your videos..I hope you all are having a great summer.❤❤❤
Wow, so many maple cyrus come from those trees that taste like honey?😮
Love this! Can’t wait to see all the behind the scenes action! Kassy & Tyler
Your property scares me, the rushing river and a curious toddler running around.😮

Hello! Thanks for watching 😊
My wife and I want to try this. Is it hard to get the taps back out? How do you plug the holes? Love this video!
❤❤ I KNOW THIS SOUNDS SILLY BUT COULD YOU TAP OPPOSITE SIDES OF ONE TREE TO GET MORE SAP??❤❤
@ToriGoesOutside
5 ай бұрын
Not silly at all! You can put two taps on one tree as long as the tree is wider than 18 inches in diameter and three taps for a tree wider than 25 inches or more
@Crazycatsx

I wondered the same thing TY for asking 🍁
👍🏻
Do you plug the trees when you are finished tapping them? Wish we could do this in Scotland as I love maple syrup.
Beutiful home love where you live
Never tapped trees, nor seen how it’s done. My Dad always said “A question is not dumb, unless you already knew the answer.” So, here is my question - I can’t identify many tree types. So, what do you look for to know it’s a maple tree?
@ToriGoesOutside
5 ай бұрын
That’s definitely not a stupid question! Especially since we’re tapping in early spring before it has leaves, you have to be able to identify it based on the bark and the branches. Here’s a good article on how to identify them: ferrinbrookfarm.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/identifying-maple-trees-in-winter-to-tap-for-maple-syrup-2/
Thanks for sharing this video. I am not familiar with the tapping process. How long can you tap a tree without damaging it?
Hi, Tori. Can you put more than one tap in a larger tree?
First yeaaaa
