I love the look of that! With those wheels, the lowered stance and the bodywork it looks like the Mini that Nissan where aiming for in the first place! Its like some alternate reality where Rover did a proper 90s update of the mini, I really want to build one now!

I’m just trying to skin some car wheels will do it with carbon fibre fabric and resin. Sand blast them first. Then I’ll prime and grit first. It’s a test on some rx8 wheels

What is the first layer of carbon you used?

I can see how making parts from carbon fibre can be addictive, I’m looking at what’s left of that rear bumper and thinking it needs to be cf too.

Yeah it’s very addictive especially when it’s fairly easy to do at home with decent results!!! Yes rear bumper might be carbon later on. It has a complicated mounting system. Needs a good thinking over
