How did you clear coat it? With regular automitive clear or rattle can ?
Was regular automotive. Matt clear.

Biggest takeaway, reinforce your mount points before you have too! Easier said than done though, if you don't know where they're going to be and it's a one off.
absolutely this! most things i have done, customers have no clue how its going to be mounted. i usually add extra layer in places where i think its going to me mounted.

Honestly i think this is the last place i would try to save weight when your hoos is that light, my hood is from a 87 190e si it is heavy, and would benefit more from acarbon hood but its cool non the less
nice to see the MR-S did so well. sorry i didn't make it in the Proper MR2 :p had a few wiring and alternator issues that stopped me coming up in it. hopefully see you at the first double weekend.

You're gonna need aero to keep this on the floor just to stop a light gust of wind from blowing it away when stationary!

I love a starlet, they're like micras without the rust (mine were at least 😄). And the 4EFE engine is literally bullet proof. I've had three of them, and one i never bothered putting oil in and overheated because i drove it without a belt to the water pump, it didnt care through. I just put a new belt on and topped up the water then put another ten thousand miles on it

Glue gun sticks if you cut them to length ..drill out the centre if needed and can be used as spacers behind the wings where you need to bring them out to suit the existing panels...they work great...nice work guys and great info for the diy guys ...lovin this👌

What kind of resin do you use for wetlay up like this. I bought some laminating epoxy and seprate uv protectant but after doing research it has a light amber, trying to find clear and the store buy me only has clear table top with uv in it. Hardness is 85 i think for the table top but i know its more of a coating over bond like laminate. Pretty annoyed the guy told me it was clear.
