The cost of renting tools is mad. I had the exact same thing the other week; needed a chainsaw for a job and it was only £20 more to buy a Titan one from tool station than it was to rent one. If I didnt have to keep the trailer in the garage Id be investing in one of those lifts!

Next week: I am cutting a hole in the garage ceiling, (I went for a scissor lift, and its fine, 1m is plenty)

Hey I’m thinking of getting one of these… do you know at what increments the lift locks out at? I.e does it lock out at every 20cm or something. I have a garage very similar to yous so this could be ideal

i think its about 7-8cm. so from flat on ground all the way to the top almost touching the ceiling is nine locks. and the first one as good 30cm of the ground. and its about 90-100cm to the top.

Our equipment has anti-falling mechanical locks (8 holes)at different heights to ensure safety!Hopefully it helped you!
