Hi a very good design and very neat work thanks. I thought a lining on the inside would protect the lighter from scratches from the rivit sand press's button.

Nice work. I have a Zippo leather case and was surprised how thick the leather was. Is there a reason for this? I will try to make one myself using thinner more pliable leather to see if I like it.

I would have put a liner inside because the snaps will scratch the lighter

Yes neatsfoot oil would work, you could also try resoline or leather balm with atom wax
