Yes it will, the leather will absorb the vibrations of the metal. It will affect the cling noise.

That's a nice sheath but the only thing I don't like is the Bottom isn't Flat so the Zippo will not Stand Up.

I bought the pdf and measured the square making sure it was 2 inches all around but it was too small. Might have to change size
