OMG, yes.
I love how there’s lack of narration . Just hearing him opening and working with the clay makes me relax . I listen to it every night so it can help me get tired
Just got a cheap potter wheel that works for me. I still can't believe I didn't discover pottery sooner I mean OMG I think im in love.

Where u buy pottery wheel ,which band
You inspired me today. Usually I limit myself to making two pound bowls. Today I did 4 four pound bowls and a five pound bowl.
The lack of narration pleases me... I do enjoy the focus simply being on the act of creation
Amazing!! I’m a senior in high school and I just bought my own kiln to accompany my wheel. Can’t wait to glaze things like that!

Jons channel always gets this comment. He's pretty awesome.
This was beautiful to watch. Something about creating with your hands
Pottery is honestly so satisfying whether you are watching it or doing it.

How is it

Ro sansierra , well it probable looks like a first piece, do ten then it's pretty good. I was a slow starter. Took me six months to make a kiln load. Half were too chunky tho so they went into the bin. Didn't take me so long to make more. It is said that it takes 5,000 try's to make a perfect mug. It takes a lot of try's. But that's okay. Everything in life is like that. It's good to be good at something. Fly at her.
People have no idea the work, knowledge, and planning that goes into working with clay. Awesome bowl! TFS!

Awesome bowl Love watching this kind of video
What a great video! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Always love your videos. Do miss your old studio and the energy. I guess it was cozy and everything seemed within reach. I just loved that, being able to see all that stuff in the background. It made the fresh from the kiln stuff look really awesome 😁
I watched this video and tried it, my bowl came out great, I love your videos, thank you for helping us potters! Been doing pottery for about 2 years and your videos are awesome!
I like when you explain the process. And when the family is around.
Wow, its really stunning!
Amazing video, amazing artist!!! ❤️
OMG! Awesome job!! Fascinating!!👍👍

It was such a joy to watch thank you.
Thank you for putting down the glazes that you used.. i’m struggling trying to find Rani glazes and learning about flux..
So cool. Love this.
You are DA BEST, literally DA BEST!!!!
Love it!
Beautiful!
Beautiful. Thank you.
Agree that the lack of narration is great-the world has entirely too much chatter. Love the space for focussed observation.

Beautiful! Where do you get your ceramic bats from?
Yes please! Which glazes were used for this? Did you use a flux to get the effect?
Thank you for not talking. Really amazing work. Subscribed!

Hi ,, can you help me, if you can print the photo(photograph photo) in the pottery and how ?
What kind of clay did you use.
Jon, how many pounds of clay did you use?
1:50 How many people checked their phones?
Is it hard working on a pottery wheel?
So beautiful my friend
Hey from where you are?
How much time does it take to learn pottery?? Nd r there any workshops to teach from basics that u do conduct?
@Cate7451

It's a lot of work to do pottery. Two years to learn the wheel. But Jon was very fast. Taking lessons from him would be a good idea. In these times maybe harder. See if you can get set up. It's so great.
can i ask: wouldn't it be more easy to put your weight in throwing large pieces if you thrower was at hip-ish height?
My dream
Hello. Did you buy your pottery stamp? I have tried a few but they have not worked.

Wow
Holy f'ing mother of Zeus! Out of the park! 👍👍👍
What is that at 6:50?
You should do some fun challenges when you have free time and film it, such as blind folded pottery, making the thinnest pots possible, etc. Love you and your videos the most!
Pottery itself is sexy and we get a hot potter. 😂
So we just finna forget the fact that he centered in .3 seconds 😐

Does anyone else here hate watching someone use that much water when throwing?
8:20 what is this
@jessicaley1763

Dark and Light Flux by Mayco. It helps the glazes to have that drippy effect.
Who else come here after 0:50
No
Why don’t you talk anymore in your videos?
I can't for the life of me figure out what people find soothing about all the sounds 🤷♀️ To me it's gross...like finger nails on a chalk board. I guess it's a sensory thing. I can't stand the sounds of people eating or drinking either lol. But that's ok, I just watch with the volume down because I love the pottery!!
No hate but this is nother like asMR it’s to fast try to go calmer and slower you don’t have to take this advice
