@Cornelius Quiring Not only relaxing to watch but also relaxing to do. I used to make pottery myself, but as I watch those professionals, I am always astonished, what they are capable to do. It looks easier than it is and my problem was always, to come up with good ideas of what to achieve and how to do it. Congrats to the potter.
I love that is doesn't have any music. It very relaxing with just the motor in the background and the comments. :D Great work too!

There is actually quite a lot of music in it but yeah, it doesn't need all of that. Maybe a subtle tone here and there would be enough. And the soothing of the silent parts is really the strength here.

I taught pottery in secondary school over 30 years... this lovely young woman has it down to a science. She loves what she does and it shows with her finished pieces. I would love to see her do a drilled piece in an in-ground “Raku” firing 😘 during the summer of course 🤗❣️

No, she doesn’t. She centers weird, she finishes her wedging on the wheel and she doesn’t have the common sense to use wax in the bottom of her bisque pieces prior to dipping them in glaze!

if you were a beginner in the pottery wheel, you'd feel stressed by this video haahha
That was lovely - so relaxing to watch. And I learned more in 20 minutes than in my entire year of first year ceramics. Not kidding - those teachers didn't explain why various things were done, so what the students did was very much hit and miss. It is a real joy to be able to work in a creative job.
Absolutely magnificent. Gorgeous. I understand and appreciate the final product because it showcases the versatility of the material, but the finished bowl without the holes is more beautiful to me.
Catharine is simply amazing. She had an amazing presence on screen. I wish she had her own dedicated channel. You guys did an amazing job filming and editing. More of Catharine I say! MORE!!!

Beautiful! Mesmerizing by just watching the process. Thank you, mademoiselle!
How. Passionately, dedicatedly, lovely you made the bowl!🥰
This was so educational. You answered many unanswered questions I’ve had
I am impressed..... and it takes a lot to impress me.
I love watching people throw, but I love even more that you explain what you're doing and why! 🥰
I made a fruit bowl just like this in high school! Love the way you can see the contents of the bowl peeping through the holes.
this is perfection. she is perfection. her art, like her, is perfection.

Beautiful bowl! I checked out the website and was surprised at how affordable these pieces are. With that much labor, I would expect them to cost much more. Watching this video was not just instructive, but so... relaxing.
My God you make that looks so easy. But i have done it and it is far from it! U do incredible work and it is so encouraging to see someone living their passion. I pray for your continued success and one day i will buy one of your labor’s of love.
and that was the most beautiful demonstration of throwing I have ever seen! I love the color of the clay, gorgeous grey to awesome chocolate and that wonderful fruit bowl, wow, gonna watch it again.
So happy to see an upload. Loved the video!
Beautiful! What a wonderful design for a fruit bowl. Very much enjoyed watching her make this!

Mesmerizing. Good to see more videos from this channel.
Love the scene at the end illustrating the progression from turned/thrown to the finished piece out of the kiln. Well done.
That gray clay body is beautiful.
I’m taking a ceramic class and I really just learned everything on my own from online videos. Looking at this gives me ideas of how to design my own stuff.

Thank you. I've never seen it done from start to finish before. You explain each step clearly, except I missed when you must have cleaned up the holes after drilling them. Wonderful.

Thank you! That was direct, informative and beautiful in its calmness. Proof that we don't need irritating music over under and between all action when we watch something interesting.
What a beautiful view from the window in your studio - so light filled and airy.
I've been waiting to hear back from you guys! You have such awesome content :)
The bowl is beautiful, I've not seen anyone cone up so high, but it's part of your throwing, so who am I to say anything but praise for your throwing, trimming and the finished bowl is stunning
Those bowls are probably the second coolest thing I have seen today!
The final shrinkage is crazy! Looks awesome!

WoW!!! that was simply BEAUTIFUL to watch! You are SO talented! I am in absolute awe , i could watch this for hours! :D
That looks super amazing! I have one tip: place the bowl upside down before you start drilling you will create arc strength, which might enable you to make even more holes. Great work love it
Beautiful. Both you and your art pieces.

What a sweetheart. I was hoping the final glaze would be brighter or more colorful.
Very thorough and excellent presentation of the ceramics process!
What a wonderful piece of work!
I made a bowl like that in early 1980s. A family member had ceramics shop but I like to do my own pottery. I didn't have a drill to use but I traced and cut the shapes myself. Smoothed it all out and fired, glazed and fired again. Got lots of praise lol
