Thank you for sharing your beautiful techniques! I'm not out to rob them, as I'm more in material development but love to learn anything that interests me, which is presently global pottery and ceramics as art versus industrial use. Love the channel thus far and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you create!

Loving your work, I have subscribed and enjoyed watching your videos. I checked out your website but all your pieces have sold, will keep looking for next items for sale. Do you post to Australia? I see you have a cover over your wooden stamps. Is this a piece of latex glove? Or something else? To stop stamp from sticking to clay?

  • @WatajimaPottery

Thank you so much. I'm glad that you enjoy watching. Yes, the skin is a latex sheet that prevents clay from sticking to the stamp. I am sorry that most of the items are sold out. I will try to restock some products as soon as possible. And yes, I ship them to Australia.

Dear Watajima san, thank you again for this very well made video! These small plates are truly beautifull! The water repellent solution...does it have some kind of name or near description? Here in germany we use some kind of wax but it`s difficult to apply.😑 And the white flower are just wonderful! I must say it again...i am always loving the small glimps into the nature of your backyard and the mountain view!☺

Thank you so much! I'm also enjoying working in nature and feeling every season comes and goes. I use “CP-E2” which is oil-based water-repellent. It’s easy to use because It soak well into the biscue firing pottery. Hope you can find it or similar product.

@@WatajimaPottery Feeling every season sounds really lovely.🙂 I live in a big city and i am often feel cut of from nature. I would love to live on the countryside but it`s hard to find a proper job. Maybe when i retire i can move a little bit more into nature. That`s something i am looking forward to. Until then i have to admire Watajima sans beautiful home.😄

    白化粧しない場合は印花のところに釉薬がたまり、それも面白いと思います。流れやすい釉薬ですと、もっと面白い表現になると思います。いろいろと試験してみると良いと思います。
