Hi, Jon. I’m a new potter, found your videos almost a year ago. You have been an awesome help! I was wondering what that little round circle is that you put on top of your mug when you trimmed it? Does it have a name? Does it help you keep it centered?

Love these mugs. Going to attempt to make one at the pottery studio I go to. What is the color/name of the glaze you poured on at the top? The color and effect is awesome! Oh, and ... what’s that powdery white stuff outside? 😜 we don’t see much of that here in Tampa fla!

Japheth Martin if he wants the spiral to go a certain direction he would reverse it but other than that idk

Ania W my guess is on the bottom it’s mayco winter wood with a coat of mayco aurora green overtop on top rim only.

How is it the bat doesn't move. I've bought bats but they move around without the security. That's the only thing I ever focus on in these videos I'm like howww though
