Fun, little ring. Thanks, Susan, for sharing this design with us.
You always have the coolest toys to show us when crafting a new piece!
Susan I appreciate you And all of your sharing up tutorials I’ve learned a lot from you. Thank you
Yes zoom in please. You do great and I want to see!
Thanks! This is a definite must try!!!
So pretty! Thank you for sharing! 💜
I love this design and the technique is quite straightforward. I'm thinking of all the colour combinations now... :)
This is really pretty, Susan. I can't wait to try it.
Love your tutorials. Thank you
Tysm looking forward to making my own
Easy to understand. Tks
Great, I'm always ready to learn more!
So beautiful so easy thank you for sharing this video
I love it you make everything looks so easy
Your creativity is beautiful, compliments 👏👏👏🥰
Really cute and delicate. I love rings, but I have not made any of my own yet. But I did purchase a ring mandrel and waiting for it at this time. Thanks so much for this tutorial.
Really nice.
Very pretty. Great tutorial
Love this!
😁Roses and Gerbera daisies so beautiful
Very nice ring and easy to make. Congratulations, very good video👍 🌞
Nice one Susan. I'm going to make one!!
🙏🙏🙏🙏💖😘 I'm so happy, for the tutorial Thanks Teacher ☺️💖
Please do a tutorial on the bracelet you're wearing with the fringe! and also a tutorial on soldering a pronged gemstone mount to a ring base!!
Hi Susan love you ring design❤ I also see matching dangle earrings to go along the ring
Fabulous 💕
I like it without the beads too😊
Susan I love your bracelet. Please consider teaching.
So pretty
How ‘bout a video on that beautiful bracelet your wearing? Love your work! 🤩
So pretty ring 😍 I wonder if you could make a closer look with the camera, at list the first instructions techniques, it would be wonderful; thanks in advance. I picture this design as a brazalete too! Thanks much for sharing, Susan, your designs are beautiful! Nice week 🍃🌹🍃
Love your bracelet and tassel have you a tutorial for it
You do such a great job of everything you do. You explain it beautifully and the camera is in the perfect spot for us to watch and try to duplicate. However I no this isn’t Susan‘s issue, it belongs to Susan‘s boss. It would help us if you would not fast forward the filming. Especially when it’s a ring with a new tool and a step that we haven’t done much of.
Could you try and zoom in when you’re doing the beading? It’s to far away I can’t see it. Maybe if you watch through the camera to bead then we’ll see what you see. Thank you. 💝🥰

@Susan Roberts: Seeing tiny things is also very difficult for me, as well. 😱 I take progressive (sequential) camera 📸 screen shots in my phone (or laptop) to capture the steps I need to see up-close. I then spend a few minutes cropping the sequence of screen shots, adding notes in the screen shot photo, or on paper. (Note: when you crop the screen shots, you have progressive close-ups that zoom in and show wonderful details and make it easier to understand each step.) Once I have all of the screen shot closeups that are significant to me, I save them in a folder, and save a copy of the video in KZread. This gives me an advantage to review techniques used at a later time, and to add any further comments I may have about the construction techniques and design work in the file. This is a good reference tool that is free to make (with just a little initiative), and it will give you good details, along with any helpful changes that you may discover on your own. By doing some homework, and saving the notes you have made in a spiral-bound notebook, you have a technique manual made just for you, that you can refer to over and over again. My background in Editing, my skills as a Designer, and my passion for Heirloom Gemstone Jewelry gives me an advantage that I can use in the future. It also helps to save my sight which is precious! Intricate beadwork can take its toll on eyesight, and I encourage you to add better adjustable lighting, including lights to improve your field of vision, and reading glasses to empower your sight, while lowering frustration levels, to help you become a great success in your design efforts. I hope these tips are helpful to you. Wishing you all the best. ❤️
Beautiful, thought ...the 28 gague wire don't cut on each end, just use extra wire and continue on the other side having just two ends and not four to pinch down make ring stronger.
Can you teach how to do the bracelet you are wearing it’s so beautiful too! 🌺
Beautiful ring! I love your videos but can you please have the cameraman zoom in more on the jewelry as it’s being made. Sometimes it’s hard to see the fine details.
I absolutely love your tutorials. I plan to make this soon however in three instead of two rows. I'd like to have your opinion on how to start the third row? Should I use the same wire starting from the second row or cut it make another row of 4 and attach it somehow?
@JewelSchool

I actually haven't tried doing it with three rows. Use your intuition, give it a go, and let us know how it goes!
As usual I am more interested in what Susan is wearing than what she is doing lol. I want to know about that long dangle on your bracelets.
I am loving the wrap bracelet with a leather tassel .....may I know how to make it 🤗🤗😍😍
Nice 💍
What is the exact name of the round pliers with the markings and where can I buy it?
Waoo 👌👌
This a great project and your instructions are detailed and clear. However, I agree with others that camera work could be better for these videos. Overhead zoom would improve these 100%; one should not have to edit the video, taking progressive screen shots that should be part of the original video. I've recently become addicted to Jewelry 101 and attempted with success many projects. Keep up the good work!
How pretty! I love that bracelet as well! Hopefully a tutorial on that will be coming soon! 😍😍😍

Hello Susan Thomas, what a pretty ring you have designed & made. ❤️😘💋 Thank you‼️ As you were making it I was wondering if it would be possible to make it in a different design, kind of like a grape shape with a row of 3 then 2 & then 1. I am thinking that maybe it would be too flimsy then & bend too easily, or do you think maybe using a different size of wire would work?? Your design is lovely, but I was just trying to make it my own‼️ What do you think⁉️🧵💎✂️💁🏼♀️

Thank you for sharing 🤟🏻❤️💋 could this be a Bracelet? If so what zirconia inns or gemstones do you recommend for bracelets versus a ring ?
I loved the ring you made, but my video kept buffering throughout the demonstration, which was distracting. I’ll look at it from home and hope it stops buffering! I was on my iPhone.
Do u have a video of your line wring?

What school do go to to learn how to make jewelry. Is it gemology school/certification or do they just teach you how to tell how much the jewels are worth. Whether they're real or fake? Where do you go to learn if you want to have career in jewelry?
@JewelSchool
4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, it really depends on what you mean by "career in jewelry-making". There are about 100 ways we could go with this question! Do you want to become a jewelry retailer? A jewelry designer and/or manufacturer? A jewelry crafter/maker? A bead retailer? I think the first step for you might be to set yourself up with some beginner jewelry-making supplies (if you haven't already) and start watching jewelry-making videos (we have a ton!!) and visiting your local bead shop/craft stores for some in-person workshops. Once you discover what you love about jewelry-making (i.e., the study of gems, the design, or the making, etc.), it will make your path more clear. GIA is a great resource for getting educated and you can contact them to learn more about the career paths their program sets you up for. In the meantime, we would love to help with your supplies needs :) www.jtv.com/jewelry-making/_/N-375228644/?mcid=XSOjsyt

Your rings and necklaces are all very pretty . From my experience when I used the gold color wire , after a while the color tarnish no matter which wire(even when it says tarnish resistance) Is there wires that don't tarnish because it ashame that these are so pretty and you can't wear them for a long time as they tarnish.
@DebyNieto-kq2ci

Copper wire..and healthy to wear and when it tarnishes you just mix 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of salt, drop in your copper pieces and then rinse and dry....shiny and new again plus it cleans your beads too. You can store the mixture in a sealed container for further use too. Hope this helps.

I’m just starting out making rings. I also didn’t want to make jewelry that turns to junk in a little while. I was thinking to use gold plated. If this is true that I could clean the copper wire that would be great. I was trying to see what she used but couldn’t see it. Deby...would love to know the part number of the plyers. Thanks.

@@orysiaduda2340 Sorry for the late reply, been sick. Here is the item number to copy and paste on ebay's search bar for the acculoop pliers for 17.20 with free shipping, cheaper than anyone else..love mine item # 222781310352 And Yes on cleaning copper wire..get a container with a lid put in 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 tablespoon salt, mix well and drop your copper pieces in and within seconds it looks like a new penny and sanitizes glass beads if you use them then just seal for use next time. Truthfully I have used the non tarnish and after awhile it is just a lie, that is why I stick with copper and eventually will add sterling silver..Hope this all helps. Also have a great guy on ebay I buy my copper wire from, great prices, lots of feet on the roll and free shipping. Let me know.

Very pretty but why are you doing it so fast doing loop apposite side seems to me the video pauses through the Turing points🙁🙁
The link that you added for the supplies had nothing to do with the video. Instead of showing the supplies that the she used for the video? There was a link to six different colors of wire. No beads used for the ring she made and no link to the tools she used.

Very cute ring but man oh man you waste wire. You said you were cutting off 2 feet but after you made the ring you cut off about a foot alone. Do you not measure your pieces ever ?
Ring, sorry
GET RID OF THE MUSIC!!! It’s really distracting. It’s difficult to hear what she’s saying. If you want to put music as a background then choose something that is more subtle and relaxing. Personally, I’d rather you didn’t have any at all.
