While not completely accurate, this feels more like it captures the essence of woody. It feels more like a woody that was made in 50s, rather than what the movie portrays, and I’m here for it.

@@dazzlingburritoes5693 Disney didn't have buzz's model since it was a Disney movie, not pixar. Plus they probably had to update his model so it fit the style of Ralph breaks in the internet. I agree his design was botched, they probably didn't put thought into it / alot of work since it was just for a background scene

This is amazing! I was obsessed with toy story as a kid and remember being somehow disappointed by the woody toys that came out, because they just weren’t like the movie. I would have killed for this toy as a kid!

Same. I never liked that the actual toys were never accurate to the ones in the movie. I mean yeah they looked right as far as the characters are concerned but as far as being accurate to the toy itself was a real let down 😒

23:59 yeah…how Woody’s pull string held up despite everything and 20 years of abuse…it’s more than movie magic it never frayed.. Considering that my brother broke the pull string on mine when I was ten, I was rightfully peeved with the further films making that pull string steel or something, lol

This looks so realistic to the point where it looks like a real creepy 50's doll

I genuinely thought about this yesterday and now it's shown up on my recommended. Phones reading minds is a whole other level.

I'm genuinely impressed that there are people out there that can do stuff like this.

The doll looks so accurate to the movie, my only issue is that Woody's face is more pink than flesh color, other than that I actually like the doll

Something that would’ve been funny, is if you played the clip at the end of when the guy finishes prettying up Woody from Toy story 2. “He’s for display only. You Handel him too much he’s not gonna last.”😂

The before, compared to the after, looked like something in a science classroom that had been soaking in formaldehyde for years.

The patience and attention to detail it takes to do these kinds of projects blows my mind man. Looks AWESOME!

The skills that you have are incredible you not only redid his face, you redid him from top to bottom inside and out you are a true artist!

I can’t begin to tell you how envious I am. Having a movie accurate Woody was my childhood dream

Really awesome work! You can see the hours of hard work put into this! My only criticism is that there is too much clay/putty around his eyes which make it appear not as _bulgy_ as I would imagine. I also think a clear coat applied to the eyes to make it more "glassy" would be a nice touch! Even still, best Woody doll I've ever seen a fan recreate :D

Hasbro did a horrible job on making the Woody doll. Duane did an insanely excellent job re-detailing Woody making him accurate to the film and giving him extra features.

One of my little brothers has had one since the original came out! His twin has gone through numerous Buzz Light-years. XD

Makes one wonder why the toy companies don't bother doing screen accurate toys. It's so annoying. Great job though!!!

That comparison shot at the end really helped show how much effort was put into it compared to the regular toy, great job.

This is some Pixar-level detail in the flesh. There were moments of audible delight from me as I watched you. Amazing work!
