Thank you! I am going to try making one of these for my duck! I was about to buy a very expensive harness diaper from another company until I read the reviews on how long it took them to get the orders and how crappy their customer service was so I was like NOPE and off to find a different way.... I might have just found it now :)

My special needs daughter has 2 muskovy ducks that we have made soso diapers for. She just snagged a baby runner duck at the fair yesterday. I don't think our diapers will work for her long body. I want to make yours. Is there a way you could send a scan of your diaper pattern to manipulate the size? I can sew but need more to work with from this video. The pattern will help tremendously.

Oh! You got a Muskovy ducks? That's how I got into ducks. I was looking in shelter for my lost dog and ended up adopting a Muscovy drake. I got him 3 Pekin ducks to keep a company, but he flew away leaving me heartbroken. Then the other 2 - got killed by the possum and the lonely drake insist on coming home for a night, although is not imprinted on me. He spent the night sitting in front of the mirror. This is a 1st pattern that comes with a simple but perfect idea of using the waterproof baby pants. I got after my father the old suspenders- elastic, which might serve better that regular fabric strips. For your baby runner, temporarily you might want to use the sock, cutting two holes for feet ..I saw that someplace on You Tube for ducklings. Good luck.

Catherine Coulombe Hi, sorry it's taken so long to reply, I didn't get notifications on my old phone so only just saw your comment. The pattern mostly works for adult ducks but I had to make some adjustments to the diaper piece ( really just lengthening the non ruched area and scaling up). If you'd still like more info let me know x
