You are a great presenter and that was so entertaining and cute. It had me and my crazy chicken lady girlfriend grinning the whole time! Awesome design!

I like this diaper better than others I've seen. Good job. I have some ideas and will probably mix up and make one that may have less fabric. I hop to make one that is mostly just the pouch and not have the chest covered. I'll try and post a video of it if it works as good as I think it will.

I don't know if you are still working with chickens or not, but this is an EXCELLENT video and just what I needed to know!!!!! Your birds are very well behaved!!!!! Good job!!!!!

Thanks! We just found out that one of our chicken chicks is a "meat" chicken, & can't handle the heat of the outdoor coop, so it looks like I'm going to have a house chicken, & this was immensely helpful

Thank you dear. A hawk rolled one of my young hens hard against the ground and attempted to break her neck. It tried then to fly away with her as it saw me come running and screeching like a banshee across the yard but it couldn't get good lift, failed to clear the okra stalks and bounced off them then dropped my bird. I thought she was dead. She didn't move hardly at all for days. I kept her in a dimly lit warm bathroom until she began to sit up and fed and watered her from a dropper. Over time she stood up and would peck around wildly trying to find food. Her head no longer sat straight on her neck and it was apparent she was blind. I was still willing to try. She began to have seizures and I ALMOST had her put down because of the severity of seizures. Then suddenly the seizures just stopped. By then she had figured out how to find the food and water in her box. All her items must be placed directly where she remembers them to be or otherwise she struggles. Every so often she likes me to put her out on the living room floor to explore so long as I stay nearby. We've been doing this two years now with me scooting behind her with paper towels. A chicken diaper would help a LOT!! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!

ty for the video. This one looks easier than others I have seen. I have 3 house chickens at the moment. 1 that's injured, 1 thats sister died and she won't go in wit anybody else, so she sleeps in house, and my red frizzle whom is full time in the house, she hates other chickens lol. Would you be able to do a video on cutting the pattern? Which is less stressful on the feathers, fleece or cotton? I am going to machine sew them thanks again.

The diaper should only be used while the bird is out and with you. They shouldn’t wear it when they are sleeping or in their cage or anything else. Chickens also tend to show signs of needing to lay and egg so it would be best to remove the diaper when you notice that.
