Making a "Breeze" Guitar

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

It is almost a year since the last guitar video and I'm glad this one is finally here. This one is a custom for my brothers high school friend whose nickname is Briz so we decided to name this model after him. Almost that is ;) .. This is the first guitar video with subtitles so instead of reading from a description, you can read some fun facts while you watch the video. Click on CC icon for captions.

    This is honestly one of the less intricate but most visually pleasing guitars you've guys have done, which is a huge compliment considering the huge lengths you've gone to with some of these guiatars! Every project is so much fun and so beautiful. The music on this one was spot on, got me into the mood, I love your classical pieces, but this stuff was special, you could do more of that! 10/10, stunning work, fantastic execution as always!

    Thank you very much! I agree it's a bit different style than usual but we kinda like how it turned out. Maybe we even put it in our standard offer.. I got your mail btw, I was really busy over the weekend but will get in touch with you in a day or two. Thank you again🙂

    Absolutely wonderful guitar build. Love the laminated veneer and wood. Personally though I would not have used the 3D printed knobs. They cheapen the whole look especially in contrast to the gold machine heads at the other end. Just my opinion.

    I think there should be more relief for left hand under top frets. General lines are perfect, but scoup some material like it have been done for end of the horn could increase pleyability. But its only one man opinion... One of the prettiest guitar so far. BTW, how did you handle neck angle?

    Great video guys!! Pro tip. I recomend u check the table with a dial indicator for planeness. My cnc table had a dipp. And also get a small haimmer the little one so u can indicate more quickly and also use dowel pins to reference ur position of the material for first and second op. And keep having fun making stuff!!

  • @lignumchannel

    @lignumchannel

    Жыл бұрын

    Table surface was planed with the cnc so there are no worries. Sacrificial blocks are planed every 2 or 3 guitars so we don't encounter problems. We had a lot more issues with robots because they are not phisicaly connected to the table so even temperature changes between seasons are causing detectable movements. New board and axis marks every few weeks.. Glad you like the video! Thank you😁

  • @YegresAL

    In general, you need only 2 points for that - it will provide initial coordinates for cutting module and orient working piece. In this case orientation happens by central line, and "syncronizational" coordinate provides by hole through body - that could be seen on 4:30 time mark.
