Beautiful work Andrew . I recently retired after 40 years as a goldsmith in Vancouver , Canada and enjoy the different videos from jewellers world wide . I am curious where you trained . Very nicely made , I'm betting you had a good apprenticeship .

Thanks:) I apprenticed with an Australian goldsmith named Rodger who was working here in the UK at the time. After he went home, I set up on my own but continue, to this day, to find experts in particular areas to learn from 👍

Wow. I applaud you on your dedication and beautiful work. I took jewelry making in high school a long time ago. I made a few things of silver with wire and pre made ring molding. I remember how difficult it was to work with such a small object. I even carved a ring out of wax and unfortunately didn’t measure the amount of metal correctly. I ended up with the ring missing the top part of the carving. I was so devastated. It took hours to carve the ring.

If you didn't want to talk through the video some notes on the screen from time to time explaining what you were doing, tools you were using, etcetera would have been enjoyable.
