One of the biggest things to remember is blend, blend and blend. When you have finished blending, blend some more. If you’re using a shimmer on the lid this obviously doesn’t apply. Just Pat a small amount on the lid with your finger or a flat brush. Just gently blend the edges of it into the matt shadows. Start with a shadow a couple of shades darker than your skin tone and a brush like the sigma e25 or morphe do one the same shape and it’s lovely. It will help with placement and blending. Hope this helps xx

I would be so grateful for a part 2... eyeshadow feels super daunting... especially choosing the palette for ones coloring and eye color... as well as the right depth without over or under-doing it... this was so practical, specific and SO helpful. I agree with everything, although I feel the concealer on the eyes do not work for everyone. Some people have very oily lids and even with setting it, oils will still come through. There are very inexpensive eye primers, elf has one . :)

She is GORGEOUS without a stitch of makeup on. And yes the X side is NO GOOD. I didn't even exaggerate it either...I have seen people do these things (and I have done them myself too which is incredibly embarrassing as a makeup artist) LOL.

I do the most of the time a natural Make Up 🙈 I'm 59 years old and it is more Naturel again . My skin is really dry so I need a good Creme and Sun Creme this is for me the right way . My Make Up is frome L'Oréal Age Perfekt 🤷‍♀️😀🙈

A great video and your hair style looks fantastic today. I have just one comment - SPF should go over moisturizer (no matter if it's physical or chemical). There is a very small % of SPF filters creams which should go on your bare skin and it's always mentioned in their use instruction.

I am learning so much about applying make up for older women. I try to watch every video you make. Even the shorts. I watch the video about hair issues. I have a friend who has a big problem growing hair. How beautiful inside are you to expose yourself in order to help other women to know that they are not the only one who suffers with the same issue. You have to be a kind hearted person you are. Gabi I just want to say congratulations on the way your channel is growing! Your personality is amazing! You really touch your viewers with how kind and genuinely caring you are! You’ve been so helpful to me these past few months! I was so depressed and just about lost all hope of ever regaining the use of my arms and hands again. It was hard enough to learn how to walk again after my stroke, then dealing with two arms and hands that were so weak, more pronounced on my dominant left side that I had given up hope. The morning of my last stroke I was getting dressed and ready to put on my makeup so I could go shopping. Next thing I knew I was on the floor and couldn’t get up or speak. To make a long story short, I started playing with my Ipad and my son who knew I loved makeup found your channel and put it on for me. Little by little it gave me the courage to want to get my hands and arms moving again. I started slowly doing activities of daily living and with much practice from watching your videos, I put on lipstick for the first time in months, it was quite a challenge and a little messy but I was crying happy tears! I can now put on an entire face of makeup minus eyeliner, thanks to your help! You are an expert artist, and a wonderful mentor and role model! I would love to see you do a video of the proper application of eyeshadow. All the dos and don’ts. Thank you Gaby from my heart, for helping me regain the strength and courage to go on with life.
