Thanks John I built the first version and I love it. Looks like it's time for a new one.

I like the design but why isn't there a base? More depth of cut? One thing that I would do is add a spring to the t-track stop to make the wood pieces stay apart. That way, you don't have to fiddle with it as much when you put it in the track.

The rear slot for storing the stop block, BRILLIANT. Great build John.

Yes that is some incredible forethought!
Wow! Love it! I use my table saw more then any of my tools and have made sleds for my routers too! I think the main reason I have all ten fingers is my respect for machines and cool sleds like this one! Thanx for posting this, my new project for today.
Thank you for doing this without using aluminum track, I really appreciate the creative build from (more or less) raw materials.
Great sled. Very generous to offer plans to everyone.
Thank you John-it’s nice of you to provide a free plan for this project.
I like the deluxe model. Probably going to have to make this. Great video!
Of all the mini sled designs I've seen, this is my favourite blend of functionality and simplicity. I'll have to build it with only 1 runner for my saw; hoping that'll be enough.
I made 1 of these sleds a few years ago, more as a weekend project - now I use it almost all the time - thanks John, love your work...
This is one of the best things I've built from scraps. Thanks John!
Great build, great improvement! Since I have a new table saw, and my old mini sled won't fit, I need a new one. I'll get on it right away. I see @6:45 Matt had a close shave!
Wow, I've been looking for a simple sled to make for my first table saw, thank you!
Excellent build and video editing John - thanks for sharing.
Hi John - I made this sled over the past few days. Your instructions & plans are great. Many thanks for this. Bob
I just love that you can store the stop block on the backside when you don‘t need it, great build👍👍👍
You never cease to amaze me John! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks John, made this and it works a treat. My very first real wood project.
Thank you for the free plans John. I made the original a few years back and loved it. I just replaced my old saw with a new one, and just made the deluxe version. You made it look easy, and I am always amazed at how well you present yourself and your projects. Another thumbs up.
Very nice, simple and effective with no fancy hardware needed. I'll make one for my new table saw. Thanks John!
I've just made myself two of these - one for my work place and one for my home shop. I only had 18mm ply, so a bit chunkier but works good all the same. I also added an extra stop block on the other end so I can set from/to locations for cutting out repeatable rebates. Great design - Next project will be the bar clamps :D
Все простое - гениально ! Спасибо за подсказку! Особенно понравилось позиционирование при склеивании направляющих и каретки.
Nicely done John. Look forward to making one.
Love the stop block storage! Great build. Im still hauling my large crosscut sled out but will get around to making this small "Deluxe model" soon.
Excellent project and video John! Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!!!
Brilliant!!!!! Brilliant. You’re not just amazing; you are clever, intelligent, creative, and all-around great at creating substantive and relevant content for the woodworking community. Thank you.
This is simplicity in its purest form !
That's a very clever way for making that slot. Great job John, as usual.

Once again Sir you continue to amaze me, excellent work!
Love this sled. The best one I’ve seen yet to meet my needs. Great job, thanks!
Thanks so much, John. This little sled has quickly replaced my other larger sled and miter jig as, 95% of the time, I'm cutting relatively small pieces. Awesome, simple, useful project!
Another great example of your spectacularly efficient & concise design process. Thanks
Looks very neat, going to try it! Thanks for the plans!
Cool way to store stop block. Thanks for sharing.
Great sled John! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Love it, I don’t own a table saw (yet) but it comes on my list definitely
Just made one, John! Thank you for the plans and for sharing your builds! Love your channel! One of the best ones on KZread!! THANKS!
Thats a nice little sled John. Thank you for posting the plans.I'll be making one soon
Great build and video, as always. I really loved the trick for making a T track with a simple dado then ripping the "shoulders' out of the fall off piece. It is a very quick process, and appears to be quite strong with good quality 1/2" ply.
Simple and reliable. Thank you.
Nicely done video. Please continue providing more and thank you.
Excellent tool. Very well conceived. Useful.I must make one ! Thank you John.
simple and effective! just how I like it!
That was really nice to give that away free. I enjoy your woodworking talent.
Finally built one today! Thanks for the inspiration! (and the free plans)
*_Extra fancy_* The 2.0 version looks boss
Wow! What a slick design! Thanks for sharing! I‘m going to build it some of these days...
Quality content and presentation, as always. Thanks for your videos John!
This is really interesting, and I think I might try and make one myself. I really love the way you cut the slot for the stop block to slide. You always see people doing it with routers, and as a novice hobbyist, that's disheartening. Thank you for the great idea!
Great little sled. Thanks from South Africa.
I like the way it turned out. 👍🏻👍🏻Thanks for sharing.
Perfect John, thank you.
I should comment more often as I always find your build videos to be great. Thanks for this!
You just keep coming up with cool interesting and useful projects to show us.
Simple but effective. Great job!
your plans where easy to flow keep up the good work
Another brilliant build!
Brilliant! Thank you for sharing this video. I'm going to make one as you've shown. Thanks again, and have a great day!
Hey John that is a nice cross cut sled, looks like you've made my next project. Thumbs up!
Looks like a nice add-on for the table!
Отличная работа! Вы - артист!! Спасибо!!!
I like your projects. Because they are genious, and in term of money they are so cheap. No need to buy aluminium or any other staff. Just wood and wood. 👏 bravo
I've always liked your mini sled. Now I like it more. It doubles as a nice anvil stand too I see.
Thank you, John. Very cool!
Super Duper! Nice upgrade.
Beautifully made. Simple n effective
Hi John, this is perfect. I didn't really want a full sized sled for what I do and in the past I have simply clamped a wooden rail to my miter gauge, which is OK, but not great. I think this is all I will ever need for cross cutting. Thank you for describing it all so well 😊
Awesome sled, just finished it. Highly recommend It and plans are free from John. I also recommend the belt and disc sander, it's compact, easy to build and adjust, very useful. and very cool with holes drilled in the top wheel. Thanks John.
I have some half-inch ply begging to be used, and I think this might be the perfect project for a bit of it. I love that it allows the full depth of cut!
Just built this as my first cross-cut sled (including cutting front slot after completing the fence 🤓). Cheers John, another fantastic video 👍
What a great small parts sled. So cool.
Thanks Jon looks very handy , I think 🤔 I’m going to have to make one of those! Thanks for sharing Regards BobLee
Great work on the mini table saw sled John! i really like how you designed it to hold the stop block on the back side when not in use nice touch :) Thanks for sharing the video with us.👍👌😎JP
Love the little storage slot!
Muito bom. Obrigado por compartilhar seus conhecimentos. Parabéns!
Je suis toujours ébahi devant votre savoir-faire ! [I am always amazed at your know-how!]
Thank you for make videos like this. I love that you have free plans big fan your videos. you inspired my to start making videos thanks
Awesome - gonna make one myself - thanks John!
Like the improvements - I'm going to build one
That's the ticket for my small table saw. Thank you!
Muy buen proyecto, simple y confiable. De lo mejor que encontré en mucho tiempo, Gracias!!!!
I like the design, the storage for the rescue is a really good idea, I'm going to have to build one of these.
I have been intending to build your first one forr ages but I'll build this one now. Thank you.
I’m going to make this one! I have made several sleds over the years, but this one is small and light. I may add (to the finger-saver block) a removable “tail” piece going back beyond the back of the table with a little block at the end on the underside, to stop the sled at the furthest-forward point it should go.
I have been looking for plans to build a small and simple sled just like this. Thank you for your channel, you have earned a new subscriber today! I hope to build a bigger sled in the future.
Most excellent little sled! I've been using 8mm acrylic for my runners, eliminates that damn wet weather swelling problem
Awesome. I want to build one. Thank you very very much. I like the way you do your work!!!
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing
Damn! One more project to do before I start my next project. Great build!
"Im too lazy to set up dato blade" as your eazy change wrench you spent hours or perhaps days on making sets right there in view! Love it!

Dado - not dato
great idea John, I may need to build one of these for my shop.
I did like the video, well done. What I picked up on is the finger guard behind the fence for blade safety, that glued piece of wood. It's a good idea, love safety suggestions, will definitely be adding it to my sleds.
That is absolutely brilliant, best sled I’ve seen

I agree. Except for the idea of stacking push sticks on top of the fence. Almost buggered up the project at 1.02 min. Shhh, don't tell anyone.
I like the design, the storage for the rescue is a really good idea, I'm going to have to build one of these. Much handier than my big sled.
I came across your channel by chance and I loved the free plans and ideas. Keep it up!
Thank you for your generous manner sharing your art and knowledge and even care about poor hobbyists as well.
Very nice sir. At the end I liked the storage of the stop block. veeeeeeeery smart. Thanks for sharing. God bless you.
I build it too, the best Sled i ever had, thanks a lot and greetings from Germany
Love your home made tools!
Thanks, I alway learn something new and interesting when I watch your excelent videos !!!
Great idea! I should go building this right now.
