In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I remember as a toddler I loved reading more than anything else and you could find me (quite literally) inhabiting the bookshelves of my local library or sitting as still as a statue on whatever object my parents happened to put me on, apparently that's how they lost me every now and then because I was so still they couldn't tell me apart from the scenery. Having worked with kids before, my initial idea was really mostly "A bunch of different papers and maybe fabrics with different nice textures, colours, patterns, etc, that the child is allowed to cut into pieces and then glue together again" cause that one works for almost any kid of that age (also, in this case, I wouldn't even have to be the one to clean up the whole mess afterwards for once), but when I saw that tray I knew it would work out even better. She had to be encouraged to play with joe dough but she went straight to the hanging duck and Claire.
Alex is showing the same level of affection to this child as a reprogrammed Terminator. A very professional, matter of fact demeanor, with an almost imperceptible tinge of fondness. That is to say, he commits very well to his bit 😅
Alex is just using the contestents to be a better dad. I fucking love it.
10:57 She said "Yeah" as if it should have been obvious. :D
Hands down Paul won! Not even a tie. Child didn't want to leave toys. Brilliant! 🐤
"Shall I go?" - "yeah" 🤣🤣🤣
Nell looked rightfully disgusted at the deterioration of the ecosystem.
They could have just put an empty box in the room. Kids love empty boxes.

Cats your thinking of Cats An Toddlers your right :)
You guys could totally start a junior version of the show!
Toddlers are fairly simple. They want something to play with and/or a tablet. 😆
I saw the ducks and shark in the tray and even I wanted to play with them lol. I used to love having toys in the bath, it was the best, I had a feeling that would be her favorite.
Omg when she ran in and said “hello Alex” in her little voice I lost it 😂❤❤❤
Alex is so sweet with the children 💕
The hit the ducky on the head song is stuck in my head.
In the words of Nell "Yeh!"
Nell is the cutest little nugget!
There are some evil tasks, and there are some immensely sweet tasks. This be one of the latter.
Working in child care, I can tell you that children react in very similar ways to Nell. You don't need to concoct elaborate things for children. The simplest thing will engage a toddler. The water tray with the ducks was so simple, yet Nell could've been there for hours playing with it
A cardboard box cut to resemble a castle and the crown would have had Nell playing princess the whole time.
Toddlers are both easy and hard to engage. My cousin has the worst attention span thats worse than a gold fish. I played fetch with him for an hour before he started watching TV.
Thank you so much for the longer clips!
Ducky tray one Alex: you can go now Toddler: no you can go
That was one cute toddler, made me forget all about the task
honestly, my first thought with this task is just to leave a pillow or soft club of some sort with a little note attached "hit Alex"
This task will forever be one of my favs
One of the best tasks 😍 Nell is just delightful ❤
If I saw Claire as a child I'd probably be terrified
That's the cutest kid. Omg.
As someone who works with kids this just confirms it is very easy to engage a toddler(at least for a short amount of time XD) any old thing will do really
I love how now taskmaster is moving into satire with the release of this video today
I love this task!! It's sooo sweet!!

Without doubt the cutest challenge they've ever done :') XD
I was smiling the whole video... This is great content.
When I was a toddler I played with a toy fish in the sink, makes sense she loved the water thing
Love this task
The toddler with a mullet was a real highlight

Adorable little girl!!!!
It’s amazing to me that in 20 years Nell will have perfect video of herself as a kid.
God this was such an adorable task
Alex Is Brilliant He Never Talks Down To The Child Bet He is a Awesome Dad
He's so good with kids
One of my favorite tasks ever
