Hi Torbjorn, this scissor is nothing fancy but works pretty well. Glad you like the look. Thanks my friend.
As always, a thought-provoking project. Heal up! Maybe some bed rest will spark new ideas, so it's not all bad.

I think being sick made my mind work better in some ways! Now that I feel better, good ideas have since escaped me. Thanks Bryson.

Well done. Dang wish i would have tried that a few years ago. Worked with wood all my life, was fun but that looks fun too. Thank you for showing us

Witty, whether intentional or not.
I've been wanting to try a pair of scissors but have been pretty shy, but this gives me hope that they aren't as hard as I thought! Thanks!
@gstongs
Жыл бұрын
I was hesitant too. I'm learning there are some tricky spots with scissors but making a reasonable pair isn't too hard. Thanks.
Nice project thanks for sharing love it, get to feeling better take care god bless

Thanks Richard. And blessings to you as well my friend.
Very nice! The more I look at your flat topped anvil the more I realize how functional it is. I have a traditional anvil with a horn & heel that at times isn't wide enough. The fact its swaybacked and has rounded edges from years of wear doesn't do it any favors either 🙂. Thanks for posting.
@gstongs
Жыл бұрын
Yes, I find a wide anvil more useful. But to each his own as some folks prefer more traditional anvils. Good luck in all my friend.
Very nice. They look great.

Hi Jeff, I'm feeling much better. Drinking plenty of water helps. This scissor is relatively simple but more useful than my first pair. Off topic, was talking about your mile long driveway with my wife yesterday. Thanks and I wish you all the best.

I'm really sorry to know you've had long term affects from the virus. I'm mostly better. Just still a bit of a cough / phlegm. And yeah, water is important. Thanks.
Take care of yourself. The virus is serious. Beautiful work, btw.

Thanks for your well wishes my friend. I'm feeling much better. Drinking more water helps... And I wish you the same.
Wouldn’t you want the end of the finger loop to the outside so that when you’re cutting you’re actually pulling on the smoother radius of the loop ?? just a thought
@gstongs

That's something to think about but with this pair, I think it wouldn't matter too much. Thanks.
Nice to see you using the bending jig again. Good job on the scissors. Take care of yourself. Getting rest is about the only thing that helps with that doggone virus. Just getting over it myself.
