Make Bread in 10 Minutes in a Fry pan | No eggs, No yeast

Are you in the mood for freshly baked bread but don't have the time or ingredients for a traditional recipe? Look no further! With this amazing bread recipe, you can whip up a batch of homemade bread in just 10 minutes, and the best part? No yeast or oven required!
Ingredients:
200 grams of all-purpose flour (1 and 2/3 cups) or (7.05 ounces of flour)
5g of baking powder (1 teaspoon) or (0.18 ounces of baking powder)
A pinch of salt
20g of vegetable oil (4 tsp) or ( 0.71 ounces of vegetable oil)
125ml of milk (animal or vegetable milk) 125 ml (1/2 cup) or (4.23 ounces of milk)
- Combine the flour and baking powder in the bowl. Add a pinch of salt for flavor. Pour in the milk and vegetable oil. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined and a soft dough is formed. Make sure to incorporate all the dry ingredients with the wet ones.
- If the dough feels too dry, add a little more milk gradually while continuing to mix. If the dough is sticky, sprinkle some flour onto it and knead it until it becomes smooth and flexible. (Just enough to gather the dough does not require kneading). The goal is to achieve a dough that is easy to work with and not too dry or sticky.
- Once the dough is ready, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 to 1 cm. You can use a rolling pin to flatten the dough evenly. Then, use a cookie cutter or any round object with a diameter of approximately 6 cm to cut out the dough into individual discs. Repeat this process until all the dough is used and you have obtained the desired number of bread discs.
- Now, it's time to heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
ـ Once the pan is hot, carefully place a few dough discs onto the pan, ensuring they are evenly spaced apart.Cover the pan with a lid to create a slightly steamy environment, which helps the bread cook evenly and stay moist. Cook each side of the bread for about 5 minutes. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly based on the thickness of your bread and the heat of your stove. Keep a close eye on the bread to ensure it doesn't burn.
- Once cooked, transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool slightly. The bread should have a lovely golden brown color and a slightly crispy exterior.
- Continue the process of cooking the remaining dough discs until you have cooked all the bread. You can keep the cooked bread warm by covering it with a clean kitchen towel while you cook the rest.
- Once all the bread is cooked, it's time to enjoy your homemade creation. Serve the warm bread with your favorite spreads such as jam, cheese, or use it to make sandwiches. The bread's texture should be soft and tender, making it perfect for any occasion.
- Now, sit back and savor the satisfaction of making delicious bread in just 10 minutes without yeast or an oven. Enjoy!

My father told a story of when he was still in the army, and there was nothing in the house for dinner that night but a carrot. When he came home,he found my mum had made a delicious soup (she said there was potato too, plus she boiled bones for stock),and she’d also made hot bread rolls to go with it. He was mystified how she was able to make this meal with little to nothing. She showed me how she made the bread rolls, and this is it. They are very nice, and became a staple in our home. So easy,my brother and I often made them as kids.

My grandma used to make these when we were growing up. Especially in winter and we called it Flour Bread. Hers were bigger and thinner but delicious and cooked in a black cast iron skillet. Years later, I worked in a diner and an older cook used to make them too and cooked them on the grill! Great with syrup and a pork chop or hunk of ham or pan sausage! Memories!😊☺️😉❤️💯🙏💅💥🌞

Just remember my young age, this bread called BANNOCK here and so easy to make when you just hiking, camping, or in long trip. So delicious when you eat it with fried egg and fried bacon. It will more delicious when you use pork oil or lard instead of vegetable oil into the dough. Just don't add too much baking powder, just a little bit and it will so satisfying.

The recipe for these seems very similar to what we call soda scones/griddle scones here in Scotland, the Irish call them soda farls. The only real difference is that the dough is traditionally shaped into a large flattened circle, then cut into four triangles before putting on a griddle to cook, although you can use a dry cast iron pan as well.

Looking forward to doing your recipe. My Serbian grandmother used to make something like this, but there was no baking powder and I don't remember milk. Her bread was mostly egg. Cooked all at once in the frying pan then baked. Very dense. Sprinkled with salt. Delicious. I think it was just them using up stuff in the pantry when there wasn't much else about and it's not my favorite but sometimes when I am done breading chicken or zucchini or something, I rejoice to have some leftover batter and fry it up. Eat as is, or dip it in some spreads.

They turned out an amazing mix between sweet and hearty, so they tasted amazing with both Nutella or Maple Syrup on them, as well as cheese and ham. Essentially they turned out tasting almost like when I make pancakes, so it's basically little pancake buns! So cute! 😀 I will definitely make them again in a few days, but then 3x the ingredients, so I have a bag full to snack here and there. 🙂

Hopefully it tasted good. Peace to you. The saints shall possess the kingdom and we shall reign here for a 1,000 years. The feet of our Lord Jesus will touch the Olivet mount. The gospel of John shows that the Lord Jesus rose before the first day of the week. He died in the midst of the week and rose on the sabbath. Daniel 9:27, John 19:31, John 20. We would say that he died on Wednesday and rose on Saturday. Merry passover and feast of unleavened bread to you all. The first passover of the holy old king James Bible always comes before the heathen Easter. Read Acts 12:1-4. If the first passover falls around Easter like in 2022, then something is wrong. The calendar problem must be solved. I am not relying on man and that is why the belief I have is different from most people. We ought to pray for the repentance and success of kings and all those in authority. I pray for president Joe Biden and his cabinet to do well and repent of their sins. I have been praying for all those in authority since I read 1 Timothy 2:1-4 some years ago. I am a sabbath keeping, new moon celebrating, holy day feast observing Christian that would never knowingly eat pork, shrimps, or anything sacrificed to idols. I still suppose that Ellen White is the Jezebel of Revelation. It is an abomination for a Christian to eat shrimps, pork, chicken, etc. Adam and Eve were children of God but they sinned by eating from an unclean tree. The mark of the beast will be IN the right hand or IN the forehead. It is spiritual and physical. Most of the world worships the beast by keeping sunday, friday, Christmas, Easter, Eid, Diwali, etc. There is something physical coming that people will have to take if they want to buy or sell. Our Lord Jesus never ate shrimps or pork. Prayerfully read Leviticus 11:43 and Revelation 21:8. If you make yourself abominable, that is a sin! Repent. Happy new year! The new covenant will not save you if you continue being rebellious and stubborn against the word of the Lord. It is a sin to steal and a sin to forget the sabbath (saturday). *1 Samuel **15:23** KJV - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.* Witchcraft, sorcery idolatry, witches, sorcerers, idolaters will be cast into hellfire. Only they that are washed in the blood of the Lord Jesus and keep his commandments shall be kings and priests. There is no such thing as a sunday rest or sunday sabbath in the Bible. Only the seventh day is blessed, sanctified and hallowed. Isaiah 66:22,23 says that from one new moon to another and from one sabbath to another shall all flesh worship before the Lord in the new earth. Matthew 7:21-23 proves that not everyone that says Jesus is Lord will enter the kingdom. We need to do the will of the Father which is to obey and honor our Lord Jesus Christ. He kept the new moons and we ought to keep them.
