Not a fact at all, there is plenty of drivers making 3-500 in 8 hrs accepting all orders in the Bay Area. You may think that your getting good orders but in all reality the driver who took that $4, more than likely got rewarded a $17-$30 order next. While you declined it for a $10 order that took longer and then only got another $10 after...

If you're single you owe 10% on the first 10k you make, then 12% on the money between 10-40k Roughly. Anything above 40k you start paying 22% on that. Then you have deductions which will save you some money, standard deductions or deductions on your mileage, depreciation of your car ect. Which ever way you choose to go. Keep aside maybe 15% total in the end for taxes and you should be just fine and have a lil of that money left when it's all said and done.

These are some solid tips. The pay/miles ratio is extremely important. Where the dash ends is as well. Knowing which restaurants ppl order from rather than blindly going to the nearest hotspot. Taking large/expensive orders because of the higher chances of tips. These are the things you learn after dashing enough but this video can save the new guys a lot of time.

Text EVERYONE and tell them you’re in the restaurant waiting for their food to be ready... and you’re sorry and you’ll be as quick as you can (even if you’re lying) ... Then text them when you’re 2 mins away and tell them! Also say “5 stars would be great!” You will get tips added onto the dash and loads of cash tips for your “time, patience and sacrifice” Also cherry pick.. $2 per mile and you finish in a good area near more restaurants... or small distances that keep you right where you are.... and cherry pick the drops to middle/upper class areas... Try to stay away from busy roads that have loads of lights if you can.. Don’t do Walmart or McD’s.... easy. You’re welcome! 6 hrs a day $150-170 a day... every time 🙂

On maui, within 20 hours a week, I can sometimes make 500 plus but the drives are a bit longer since population isn't dense. I have an electric car and try to fuel up for free at target while I get a solid workout. In between orders at slow times I turn on uber and lyft and try to take short rides that keep me near restaurants. It isn't as busy on maui but I made a surprising amount considering our population is small. My first week trying to learn the apps I hardly made gym time but now I can estimate the peaks and plan around it. TO ALL GIG WORKERS, def don't let ur fitness and health fail if ur already in the groove and if u don't have a health/fitness program get one. Driving alot can add up, negatively over time. Keep up your health.

Be careful accepting an Ubereats order and DoorDash order at the same time. You can get deactivated on DD if you do the UE delivery first because DoorDash will know you’re not delivering to their customer as you’ve gone off the path of delivery to get to the UE customer and they don’t like that. Now, if you happen to have an UE delivery that’s already on the same path as you DD delivery, then it’s not a problem really.

Yep, make sure which dollar amount is the hidden tip, most times is 8.50 adding peak pay amount when there is peak pay. Have a blacklist, based on your experience at the restaurant. I have Chitpole and Sonic on there along with other locations. I want to be in and out. 7-11 I'll accept any day cause they are usually quick. And never never chase any hotspots, you will waste gas doing it.

But now that traffic is horrible again, plus everything has opened back up to the public in Los Angeles, it makes it way harder doing Doordash and making decent pay b/c you get stuck in gridlock traffic and spend a lot on gas and time! I don’t think you can do a 24h dash anymore at least I can’t, I can only dash for 11 hours and after that I need to take a break of 6 hours, state regulations 🤦🏻‍♂️
