SiFi “I refuse to admit this is over” Awesome attitude. It’s sport, close racing, these things happen. Best wishes and fingers crossed that the 11th hour team can get you all back in the race.

You can call it what you like; we have seen it all before because mistakes happen. It is a "Sport" and a Sportsperson-like attitude is above ALL the First and Last in it. Charlie Enright is a Sportsman and there is NO GREATER HONOUR. Anyone can win by luck or by centimeters but it takes a special person to accept mishaps and still shake hands from an honest apology. GO 11TH HOUR You got this!!!

Charlie and crew, so very thankful you all are safe! Of all sailing events, Charlie, I am sure you never want to stare another boat heading into you full steam!

After viewing this clip, from the moment of assessment to calling for water the time needed to escape had diminished very rapidly and then it all becomes slow motion.

Watched this Live - still raises the hair on my neck and makes my stomach drop. So glad no one was hurt. Pray the shore team can put her back together and this salty crew can get back on the water. The professionalism of both teams is off the charts. Saw Charlie and Ben’s emotional talk to one another. I’d shake both of your hands as being gentlemen.

Charlie, and team - the kind of ..... "luck" you guys have had (over these past, what - 3 ocean races?) is phenomenal. Obviously....I know this has got to hurt like crazy.....(considering how close you were. finally). And while a win would certainly have been inspiring and reason to celebrate....so is your teams continued resilience, participation, and perseverence ..... through what is starting to look some sort of fate. While winning is a challenging feat to accomplish, it's an easy burden to bear. But you guys do shine....through all the difficulties and disappointments that seem to be repeatedly inflicting themselves upon y'all. Big ups! Big cheers. And continued 🙏⛅* (and, ABSOLUTELY, all the same to Team Guyot too. Both teams - all teams. Not enough can be said yet about all this....*)

Really sorry for you. And for the whole race. Hope that you can somehow manage to repair your boat that you're at least able to finish the last leg and therefore the race. I hope that I can see your phantastic team when we're in Genua. Btw ... Charlie is a real sportsman. He reacted perfectly when Benjamin Dutreux was excusing with tears in his eyes. Very sad for the whole race, but fortunately nobody was hurt, which is most important. Wish you the very best! Best greetings from 🇦🇹

Imagine just needing to finish the around the world race and the one team that is in last place and had to leave 2 stages hulls you. What was Guyot thinking even trying to race the contenders close?

I'm gutted for you guys. That's a lot of damage, but I sincerely hope the boat can be fixed, and reentered to complete Leg 7. Can you imagine? That's the stuff of legend.
