THE AFTERMATH | BEHIND THE SCENES AFTER A MAJOR COLLISION

From dancing around the team base together to facing the worst moment of the race after a competitor crashed into 11th Hour Racing Team, also race leaders.
This is #BehindTheScenes with our team in the opening hours of the initial shock of the collision, the first push to repair the boat, and pure reliance of team spirit.
It's not a beautiful, polished edit. It's just raw, behind the scenes.
Thank you to everyone for your support.

Amazing team! Take a pleasure cruise to Genova and wait for redress. No guarantee of enough redress but that's just them breaks.

11th hour is one hell of a team effort. Your ability to compartmentalize all of the emotional elements of this crash and its results is extraordinary. You were turning all of your energy into a calm and very thoughtful Reconstruction effort three cheers to all who are working in tough conditions to get her back onto the race course three cheers from New Orleans!

I’m so sorry that the crash happened, that you had to go through that. I’m also grateful that you, the whole team, are who you are, and are processing this experience and responding to it as you are. ❤❤❤

Great efforts to make this boat seaworthy in record time - even without taking it out of the water (due to very limited technical resources of these teams in The Hague according to the race's schedule.

81 years ago, the USS Yorktown limped back into Pearl Harbor after the Battle of the Coral Sea with damage that was estimated to take three months to repair. The dockyard workers were able to patch her up and put her out to sea in 72 hours so that she could take part in and win the pivotal Battle of Midway. Invoke that never say die American spirit, guys and make the impossible possible.
