He's a galactic god of destruction hidden in the unassuming form of a pink blob creature with the mentality of a toddler that is primarily motivated by an insatiable, gluttonous hunger. He has a completely malleable body that he can squash, stretch, and inflate at will, his preferred methods of execution are to swallow his enemy whole (like Buu did to Dabura), convert them into a star to fire back out as an attack (the city of people being turned into candy) or to slaughter them with powers stolen from previously absorbed victims (Buu's different forms). And he fights everything from cosmic horrors capable of eradicating all life in the universe (some of which look suspiciously like Kirby) to adorably innocent creatures that just have the misfortune of being in the area as Kirby is passing through.

Messed up part is that, I believe, Super Buu is technically stronger than Kid Buu. But Kid Buu is so derange, chaotic and evil that he has no restraint and goes 100% into every fight. Super Buu had way to much personality and ego that got in the way of him finishing the job, while Kid Buu shows up and goes straight for murder of the entire human race. Combined with that insane regeneration power and he was legitimately seemed unstoppable. Only atomizing him down to the point of complete and total disintegration did he finally go down. The Buu saga was up and down in overall quality but Buu was truly on of the biggest threats in all of anime let alone DBZ.

Ssj 3 was eating his time on Earth. He wouldn't have been able to finish the fight. And remember too, Goku didn't know about the Stamina and Power Draining of it yet. Goku was running out of time so it wasn't bullshit and one well placed full power kamahameha would of just been a repeat of what he did to kid buu, which is goku getting tired and the whole running out of time was a stress on Goku as well because he wasn't confident in killing fat buu and if he failed then there was no one left on Earth to defend so he did the near best thing he could think of at the time to have a fighting chance. I mean fat buu and kid buu has the same hacks just that kid buu was way stronger and deranged and that same kid buu was the one who blew himself up on earth and regenerated himself in space. So fat buu has a high chance of being able of doing the same crap. So basically they can beat the shit out of buu but can't really kill him unless they seal him or have something that just erases anything evil. (spirit bomb/plot).

He was like "shit this ain't nothing". Like yea it was plot that Kid Buu lost but it at least made a little sense.

8:00 I totally forgot Buu did that I remember every episode but I did not remember that and that made me laugh my ASS off!!!!!

They wrote themself into a corner with kid buu. They created the ultimate villian. They wished him away.

9:00 Okay, see right there, "hunter" is a little misleading. The guy who shot the dog was actually one of two mercenaries that went to kill Buu. He killed the dog to just mess with Buu because he thinks he can actually take him out. Also at 12:05, the real reason Buu didn't kill Videl was because Piccolo told him that she's Mr. Satan's daughter. Fat Buu is still inside Super Buu, so he's still sentimental about him. If you watch the show, right after Buu blows up the other mercenary, he notices Mr. Satan and their dog, Bee. Right when he was about to kill them, he stopped once he realized who they were. And even when he did the Human Extinction Attack, when it cuts to Mr. Satan and Bee, the ki blasts are actively avoiding them! It wasn't until Kid Buu came around and spit out Fat Buu that he no longer had feelings for Mr. Satan. I just feel like CJ could have emphasized the importance of Buu and Mr. Satan's friendship a bit more.

Yo Aaron in Goku's defense I can see way he wanted the kids to fight Buu because he wanted the next generation to be prepared for future threats. Now you're right that he should have killed him then, but Goku was thinking even if I beat him someone else would come along and threaten earth. And Goku wouldn't be there to protect everyone so he was getting the next generation ready.

What people forget is that the puppy (Bee) getting shot wasn't what made Buu lose control. Hercule manage to get Buu to focus and heal Bee. Buu lost control when Hercule was SHOT AND KILLED by the Same Criminal!!!! Buu healed him and THEN lost control.

Did they ever provide a plot explanation for why Beerus didn't intervene to destroy Buu? Why didn't a predecessor destroy Buu after he was sealed away? Isn't the unchecked destruction of worlds a huge no-no? Hell, Frieza apparently had permission to pop all of Planet Vegeta!

@@silverblade357 well buu was made out to be a unstoppable force. Its why they had him seal and thing is beerus probably could stop buu but he just didn't care. Beside gotta remember not like toriyama thought of beerus during the 90s. So just take it as it is or continue hurting your head.

@@atomic747 Hey, I'm just saying. They made it a point to explain Frieza blowing up Planet Vegeta with permission, but I don't think either Beerus or Whis have even acknowledged Fat Buu. Hell, even Frieza was aware of Majin Buu in Resurrection F. I dunno. I get that intervention isn't in Beerus's character, but not even acknowledging Majin Buu, a being that made the Supreme Kai shit bricks, seems like an obvious missed opportunity. There could've just been a throwaway line like, "The Kaio-Shin wanted me to get up for this?" before effortlessly one-shotting Fat Buu.
