Nah, I think it's because he wanted to see how strong Mark was without any assistance. At this point in the show, Nolan was still loyal to the empire, so he was putting Mark through a series of combative tests, to assess whether he would be strong enough to help him take over the planet, which was originally the entire purpose of Nolan creating Mark. Although yes if Omni man had interfered he would've obviously been dismembered in a few seconds.

The sad part about ambers character is she was actually a decent human being in the comics But when they made the adaptation they had to be "diverse" and apparently her character had to be put on the chopping block because of it originally she was a blonde white girl who was a bit dense but completely understanding of Mark and his troubles, when they break up it meant something because it was mark understanding his responsibilities as a hero and how he puts her at risk in doing so, and they mutually agree to split in the show the only reason her character isn't 100% hated is because she's a black women and special people feel attacked when bad behaviour is called out

No. Sadly it's because they needed to have an obligatory 4th wave feminist Mary Sue "independant strong" black woman, so they completely changed Amber's character in every way conceavable to achieve that, making her infinately worse. This is why you'll see us, normal humans, disagreeing and scorning Amber in mass and calling her out on her bs, but none of the characters in the show ever seem to think she EVER does anything wrong.

You know whars messed up about Amber is that, she got a total character change just for the series. In the comic she is just a normal girl, who truly loves and suppirts Mark, and altgough she cheated she admits fault, which later on saves her. The th8ng is that in the comics she and Mark stay friends after they broke up, and later Marks learns she is in abusive relationship and quickly goea to scare her scumbag of a boyfriend, thus showing she is a really sympathetic character. The show, they purposely made her the exact opposite of her comics veraion, she is self-centered, a b*tch, narcissitic, condescending and manipulative. So if this show gets a season 2, do you think people are going to feel sorry when they see her getting slap around by her abusive new boyfriend? Heck no. Honesrly the messed up part is that, not only did they made her extremely unlikeable, but also race swap her... No being race swap is not the problem, the problem is that the race swaped her and proceeded to make her extremely unlikeable and a total b*tch. The one character they raceswaped from the comics, is also turned into the most unlieakle b*tch in modern TV... Like dude, it really feels racists.

13:14, Viltrumite can regenerate to a degree (not instantaneously like Wolverine, but slower) and they all their attributes (including their regeneration and endurance) get stronger the older they get. That’s how Mark would be able to eventually fight other Viltrumites without being made a grease stain on the side of a mountain again.
