No, it is right with TVXQ . In fact , HeeChul sing well and emotional , but he cant sing like a main vocal of SJ

His voice is so versatile, he has a ballad voice, a husky one and a rock one. He also has a healthy vibrato, and that supported note at 2:03 with splendid resonance 😍 Maybe the reason why he doesn't get the lead or main vocal position is he's struggling to pull off a mixed voice. His voice suits those positions tho, what a waste SM ugh

honestly, i think heechul’s voice is great for rock or j-rock/anime, and ballad songs. his voice is so versatile

People usually forget that he is one of the best singers because of the KRY Power !!! But lets be honest here If heechul/Sungmin in any boy group except SJ they'll be a main vocals no matter what's the group is 🤷🤷

Sungmin is underrated

I hope he gets to sing more ballads with SJ so he can participate with their tours and promotions.

It's ridiculous how one major voice crack incident (which happens to even the best singers) was enough to make lots of people decide that he's not a good singer. Everyone has bad days. I can't understand how people ignore how good he sounds usually when singing. I think Heechul is one of the better kpop singers, definetly above average. And most importantly, his *tone*. Heenim's tone is one of the most memorable and unique I know in the industry. I honestly think a memorable tone is even more important, than being a singer with superb technique and range. Singing tone is the thing people remember and become attracted to in a world where there are thousand of good singers. Thankfully lot's of people have begun to acknowledge his vocals in the resent years.

Now i get it why he fell in love with himself. He's too precious

We forget Heechul sings really well after seeing him on so many variety shows~ At the end of the day, he's still an SM vocalist after all :)

@@armyxblinkforever7614 You have probably forgotten all about this lol but anyway to answer your question from what I'm getting from other comments, Heechul performed at SM Contcert and had a pretty bad voice crack and people really went after him after that but he was able to perform again there afterwards and did really well.

Admit it. All SuJu members deserve a solo album.

Heechul's voice is very distinct, when I hear him sing I easily know it's him. He can sing high notes, he can sing ballad and let us not forget that he likes rock. ❤️ My ultimate kpop bias ❤️
