Another Wow ! Video I bought my place in 1984 And proudly put up my regular stick it in the ground type mailbox. Next day I checked the mailbox and it was from the mailman. " You put the mailbox on the wrong side of the road " " Move It "

Loved the series from tree to post to painted numbers. Very instructional. Having lived in the panhandle of Florida, I know what heat and humidity can be like when working outside. Grandmother’s mail box a real heart string tug. You got a great the co-star too. Best wishes and keep the inspiration coming.

Wonderful series, beautiful work, perfect ending -- and I am inspired! My mailbox doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to build it a proper new post. It's about time I do my rural lane proud. (Or at least try. Surely mine won't be as lovely as yours, but it should be good enough to draw envious glances from the other mailboxes down the road.)

Hanging for the finished work, left wanting for more. Love the fact that the mailbox was his grandmother's lovingly reshaped and painted by his wife. Recycled and sentimental.

It is kind of difficult to understand but we will try. Years ago some good friends of ours sailed a 21 foot wooden boat with no electronics from Florida up the East Coast across the Atlantic to Africa. They lived in Africa for a few years and in that time there boat started to deteriorate. They had made friends with a lot of the local people and had grown close to them. When they announced that they were getting ready to go back to sea and sail back to the US their friends in Africa became worried due to the condition of their small wooden sailboat. In Africa a lot of people wear basically what they call magic for many different reasons things like to prevent them from getting pregnant to help them to get pregnant to make them lucky while they’re gambling to prevent people from breaking into their home while they are away. So the African people made some magic for our friends to help them not sync they thought that would be the most useful thing for two people getting ready to cross the Atlantic ocean and a small unsafe wooden sailboat. So the Africans gave the magic bands to our Friends and our friends wore them and sailed back across the ocean and made it safely. When they returned to Florida that is where we were living at the time on our sailboat. Our friends were getting ready to sell theirs and we were getting ready to go to sea and not needing their magic bands anymore they gave them to us in hopes that they would bring us the same protection that they had gotten from them. And we wore them and have had many safe passages at sea and since then we have added other sentimental elements. Not sure if any of it is actually true or not but if you had of seen our friends small wooden sailboat you definitely would have considered the possibility that maybe The magic bands actually did work. I know that was a long explanation. But I hope it help you better understand why we wear them. Thanks for your interest and also thanks for your interaction
