Levshunov sounds like what the Blackhawks thought Kirby Dauch was!

Can't really make that comparison. The 2019 NHL draft was a fairly weak one and after Jack Hughes there wasn't a clear-cut standout pick.

Similar vibe.. It's the kind of selection that makes you pause for a second. Then in the summer, you 'convince' yourself that he's a good pick only to be disappointed by their development over the next few years.
Yes congrats to JR so many great memories watching him play he was finesse,hard work,absorb a hit without crying and dish out a huge hit he was the epitome of the Hawks in the 80s and 99s wow man oh man he was great all heart!
I want Demidov at 2, and for the Blackhawks to trade up to 10-13 (take a bad contract or trade #50) and take Eiserman, Catton, or Yamechuck!
The Hawks should take Demidov at $2 and the best available at #18. I would like to see 1 or 2 Defencemen a true power forward and a couple of bigger centers with the first six picks.
Demidov and Hage. Defensemen can wait until the second round.

I agree with you 💯. There are quite a few big RDs that will go in the second round.
I’m sticking to my guns Demidov and Greentree I want our too 9 to be dynamic if we’re playing in the opponents zone 65% of the time the defense can deal along with the goaltending I’ll take that risk

I just don't see the alure of Levshunov at 2. Hes like the 5th best D mzn on my board. I don't care if hes s RHD. By the way I always thought Forsling had upside. Another fuck up.

Wouldn't hate that whatsoever! I think if they do go Demidov... they would like a defenseman at 18. But you always draft best player available. Emery might be a reach at, but the higher-end defensemen will probably be gone, and it feels like a gamble for either Emery or Elick to make it to 34.

@@jwhite514 I wouldn't hate it, but only see it happening if Demidov is the pick at 2.
This is going to be a hallmark draft for KD. If the team doesn’t show improvement and it becomes apparent that he errored on the #2 pick that seat is going to get uncomfortably hot, particularly if the other prospects aren’t developing as hoped.
