Technology Transfer is one of the fastest ways to develop a new practice or industry in a place where it did not exist before. By sharing information, technology and experiences the learning curve and barriers can be significantly reduced or removed altogether. For years, CEI has been leading efforts to bring new opportunities to Maine fishermen and aquaculturists to further develop and launch commercial businesses. This talk explores both domestic and international efforts (in Japan & South Korea) with lessons learned, best practices and a few success stories.
